#AztecSites Teopanzolco, one of my fav. Aztec cities. Its now in the middle of Cuernavaca. It was an Early Aztec capital (ca. 1100-1300 CE). Discovered by the Zapatistas, who put their canons on top to shell the feds in downtown Cuernavaca. Before and after excavation views. 1/3
