Every time you let the standards slip you set new standards. We are at the end of a long downwards spiral of standards slipping.
Look, everyone can believe whatever they want. It’s not about beliefs, it’s about behavior, especially when it affects others. Law and order has to enforce behavior independent of causes. Somehow, some causes seem to be allowed behavior that would never be tolerated from other causes. This double standard has to stop. Imagine the cause here would be flatearthers against indigo for selling globes spamming pro 2D plane slogans.
Cities can only function when there is a basic assumption of safety and decency. We must be more assertive with enforcing tenable norms. @oliviachow, we need your leadership here and in all the other unprecedented stuff going in our cities.

Absolute lunatics taking over the Eaton Centre in Toronto. They are targeting a Jewish owned business, Indigo. They also believe that you should be able to lead a normal life until they get what they want. Full support for terror attacks on Israel.

Canada needs to look at this with fresh eyes and see it for what it is

⚠️Masked pro-Hamas thugs, completely gone mad, are smashing windows in Montreal, Canada, attacking everyone and terrorizing the streets as they shout genocidal chants. How the hell did Canada come to this? x.com/3janetv/status…

@psobot Not just NYC. Everywhere.
Over years of home ownership, I’ve become handy. I agree with this curse.
Just like with software, when you see something wrong, you start to think about how you’d do it differently.

@BrandonMChu Dude, that VR looks so real! Crazy how far rendering has come.

@Suhail It’s almost as if products should deliver value and AI is just another (albeit powerful) tool in the belt to do that.
English

I suspect the best AI products will not have any notion of a prompt. They will never give (or bury) you raw access to the model. All the prompt engineering will be automated and behind the scenes by the company. You will just use the products for their intention vs describing your intention.
English

@psobot Examples:
- We "just" have to add some more app hosts and scale up the LB.
- We "just" have to scrape this data from an API, process it, and then show it in the UI
- We "just" have to refactor these callsites
- We just need to quantize the model and cache some common queries
English

@psobot Whenever a technical person says "just", it generally it's 10x - 100x more work than they're describing.
