Imagine if Constitution Hill didn’t end up running in the 12f Southwell race they put on specifically for him

@ciaranodeorain @dermonolan91 Big Zeb had a lot of falls early on and was overall a poor jumper before eventually getting his act together?! Will Majborough do the same?

If recent history is anything to go by, people should be careful when it comes to writing off 2m chasers Outsiders have had a great record in the QMCC in recent years, it's the one big race at the Festival where horses who were discounted earlier in the season go on to win it

Scylla finished second again in the Ballerina Stakes at Saratoga. She always finishes second or third, although most handicappers didn't expect her to shoot for the lead.

@conormckenna98 Not the 21 points but when KK beat Waterford in 08 they were 17 points up at HT.

Tipperary won the second half of the 2025 All Ireland final by 21 points. Open to correction but I think that was the biggest gap in a half of hurling in an All Ireland final in the history of the GAA. Can’t think of another final where a team won a single half by 21 points.

@CraigMilkowski Horses chances were gone from the start today anyway. Back on Dirt he will need a new pilot as Prat has been poor on him overall. Horse needs minimum 1m2f and a real pace to run at, then we will see the real FG.

I still think Final Gambit is better on dirt.

Gleeson did a fair job there on A Dream To Share. Firstly, make they sure they land the dough. Second, have it look tough enough the handicapper can’t go wild. It’ll be a funny price at Galway!

@derby1592 @CraigMilkowski How do you lads rate Final Gambit chances and would the lack of dirt runs worry/negative to winning it? Thanks

Here are the 2025 projected final times from my Kentucky Derby model based on @CraigMilkowski TimeformUS data. I have attached this to a thread from last year that includes a link to an article describing the model (written 6 yrs ago). Feel free to use or ignore. Good luck.

Doncaster's official Good to Soft (magenta) and Timeform's Good to Soft (blue) have only agreed 39% of the time over a sample of 293 races. It was more likely to have been Good. Something to bear in mind for today. There has been very little rain at Doncaster recently.

JJ Slevin jeez 🤦‍♂️ stuck in traffic from the start behind rags. Way better than that. GD never stood a chance. Again the starter dog shit.

@carvillshill Honestly convinced Supple has to have some attention on him on these big days and loves the authority. He has been at it for a long time now. Don't know how jockeys etc aren't losing their heads.
