@fantasynut_afl @ballboysfantasy @Andy_AFLFantasy I started with Caldwell, identified very early it was a bad pick, but all of the early bullets meant I had to prioritise other trade outs. I think it took about 4 rounds before i could free up a trade to get him out. This year has been unbelievable, premo bullet every week.

I think the biggest issue with your Caldwell pick is that you held him even when he lost the role. He went from being the #1 CBA mid over the first month to being the 4th-5th guy afterwards. I think certainly some bad luck with him as a starting pick, and yes some lessons there, but the main lesson which you surprisingly didn't list is in relation to holding him for this long.

If I started Zach Merrett instead of Jye Caldwell, I'd be 451 points better off This would have me as the highest coach in the Content Creators Cup and ranked inside the top 2000 1 horrible, horrible decision has been the difference between 13,000 ranks. Lot's to learn from this in the future #AFLFantasy

@Thomo_Grant Because the hawks don’t make that interchange if the AFL count was right. So the result stays the same, play had already stopped, the mark was taken, the siren a second from blowing. it didnt effect the outcome, I’m not sure how that’s hard to understand?

I’m sorry….didnt affect game outcome? 100% it did. The moment the player interchanged the whistle is blown the ball is taken off Moore shooting for goal and given to Collingwood. How can you say that?
KMo@kmo433

@Thomo_Grant Come now Grant, it’s an error yes, but it didn’t truly effect the outcome of the game. The hawks don’t make interchange after the game was basically done if they know there was none left. They are just going by the AFL counter. It’s a mountain out of a mole hill.

So is the AFL investigating Sirengate 2 or nothing to see here. Their flippant response to a major issue doesn’t stagger anyone anymore. They are so corrupt.

@davidking34 Are you saying we should now stop the game when someone gets hit in the head kingy? who gets to decide how bad it looks? I think the current protocol is working. If a player stays down, the game stops. if he pops up like Nick did, the game continues and the doc assesses.

The game stops for a player with a cramp, it stops for a blood rule, a bad hamstring, someone who’s winded ….but not to absolutely make sure there’s no brain injury. It’s not good enough. Not a medical issue, it’s a protocol issue.
Mitch Cleary@cleary_mitch

Don’t see the issue in handling of Nick Watson last night. Incident then doc gets to him for initial head injury assessment on-field which is standard. Green light. 3-4 mins on, after doc watches further vision, he’s removed for SCAT6 concussion test during most of HT and passed

@RyanAbbigail @HawthornFC All smaller stadiums have the same issue, the camera angles aren't high enough to show the ground as well unfortunately. I do feel sorry for our Tassie members. Assume you are Tasmanian, out of interest are you going to support the devils instead or in additionally

@kmo433 @HawthornFC We go to the 4 games. It’s good because the players stop and say gday , have a photo, sign your merch. Pretty much spoilt there for that. I’m sad 😞 They could definitely have more cameras for the game. There’s only 2 permanent fox cameras. Sorry. I don’t know 🤷

Full time. Demons by 39. Hey fam, we haven't won a game in like a month now 🙃 Heading into this game, it was obvious we were undermanned, and we just couldn't hang in there against a dynamic and impressive Dees outfit. They looked very good and very comfortable most of the game. We fought back in fits and starts, but the floodgates opened eventually. A lot is being asked of this group now, and it'll be hotly debated whether our second-stringers can answer the call. Maybe we need to try *something else* at selection. A lot of calls for that pre-game, that's for sure. In any case, it's suddenly an anxious time to be a Hawks fan; it feels like there's too much talent to cover all at once. If we didn't bank wins early on in the season... 😬 #AFLDeesHawks

@BradKlibansky interesting player Dalton, has endurance you need for AFL, knows how to find it to an elite level. His disposal needs work, this is prob why he fell in the draft. , his size and strength is lacking but should gain strength over the next couple of years. Looks promising though.

🤦 Scrimshaw would have come in for Barrass. James Blanck has been injured & I’m not sure Noah Mraz is ready. Hopefully Weddle moves back permanently. Key position depth back and forward will be tested big time this week @HawksInsiders
Josh Gabelich@JoshGabelich

Jack Scrimshaw injured his knee at training on Tuesday and won’t be available against Melbourne. Jack Gunston ruled out. Expected to only miss one game. No debutants for Hawthorn at this stage @AFLcomau
