In this case the landlord was giving the guy a deep discount on his rent and tolerating his late payments. The only thing the landlord asked is that he doesn’t smoke inside the apartment because it was stinking up the other units where other people live. And somehow the landlord is the bad guy in this scenario? How?

I immediately know someone is incredibly stupid and morally demented if they take this retarded anti-landlord stance. Sorry that property owners won’t let you live in their homes for free. What awful tyrants. You should just be able to live wherever you want and pay zero dollars forever. Good point. Very insightful.

@catturd2 Genuine question, do personal attacks have to precede any organized effort to replace a person? Is it required to motivate the votes?

@MarioNawfal Or NBC is a completely unreliable news source and has been for a long time and you don’t have enough care in your reporting to independently verify it.

🚨🇺🇸🇸🇦 BREAKING: Saudi Arabia refused U.S. access to its bases and airspace for Project Freedom, forcing Trump's suspension of the operation... Per NBC News citing two U.S. officials, Trump surprised Gulf allies by announcing Project Freedom on social media Sunday afternoon without coordinating with them first. Saudi Arabia was furious. The Kingdom informed the U.S. it would not allow the U.S. military to fly aircraft from Prince Sultan Airbase southeast of Riyadh, nor fly through Saudi airspace to support the operation. A direct call between Trump and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman did not resolve the issue. Trump was forced to pause Project Freedom specifically to restore U.S. military access to the airspace it needs. The Pentagon was actively lining up additional ships for transit when the operation got halted. This completely changes the narrative around Tuesday's pause. The official line was "great progress" toward a deal. The actual reason was that the U.S. couldn't continue the operation without Saudi airspace and the Saudis cut it off. Diplomacy may have been advancing in parallel, but the immediate trigger for stopping was operational impossibility, not strategic patience. Source: NBC News

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Per Politico, a senior Gulf Arab official cut through the diplomatic theater with one of the most accurate assessments of the entire war: "Trump badly wants the war to end, but the Iranians are so far refusing to give him what he needs to save face and leave. And he does not seem to understand that they need to save face, too." This is the central deadlock that keeps every framework from closing. Both sides want out. Both sides need a politically defensible exit. Neither side fully grasps what the other needs to claim a win at home. For Trump, the win is about ending the war as the dealmaker who stopped Iran's nuclear program. For Iran, the win is about surviving the war as the regional power that withstood American military force. Both sides are right. Both sides have legitimate face-saving requirements.

It was great to see former Senator Pat Roberts for a long-overdue unveiling of his official @SenateAgGOP portrait. I consider myself deeply fortunate to have served with him, and I can think of no one more deserving of having his time as Senate Agriculture chairman recognized.

@MarioNawfal Trump should have started the blockade at the onset. It’s only been a few days, he’s gotten more success from that than any of the bombs.

To be clear, I still think the war is over I’m just more worried now than I’ve ever been since the ceasefire, as Iran’s demands and rhetoric escalate They know they have strong leverage, they know Trump wants out, and they’re pushing their luck more than I expected in trying to get as many concessions as possible Behind the scenes negotiations are ongoing, and better than what we see publicly; but they’re not looking as hopeful as they did in the beginning But I still think a return to war is still well below 50% likelihood

There’s always just enough votes for Israel to win any vote in Congress. I don’t think they’ve ever lost a vote in my lifetime. And it’s always just enough votes, no matter how many they need from either side. It’s a bullshit game played on the American people to rob us.

BREAKING: The House just failed to pass a resolution to end Trump's war with Iran by one vote. The count was 213-214. Just one Democrat, Jared Golden, voted to let Trump keep waging the war.

@Jason @JoeSquawk I don’t think you are wrong about any of those points, we had to choose between Harris and Trump. I still believe we are in a significantly better trajectory than we would have been had dems won. We get what we want incrementally one election at a time.

.@JoeSquawk, it's 2026… You gotta stop blaming Biden and accept that President Trump now has to own his track record and account for his campaign promises. Inflation is up, not down GDP has been revised down Unemployment has ticked up He started a war in the Middle East Tariffs were executed poorly and overturned by the SC — that Trump placed three members of! ICE and Bondi’s lawfare were complete disasters that resulted in firings Trump’s approval is at an all-time low. He's made a lot of mistakes, just like Biden. Just call balls and strikes!
Joe Kernen@JoeSquawk

Inflation averaged 5.2% under Biden. Even with a war and tariffs to rebalance global trade March core annual CPI rose 2.6%

My job is to ask hard questions, then do one or two follow-ups, and if the subject wants to deflect or not engage them, well, that tells the audience everything they need to know. I was disappointed @JoshShapiroPA wouldn't go deeper into the Biden, Kamala and California fraud stuff, but I get it -- he doesn't think it's helpful to engage with those topics. OK, fine. Overall, I thought he did a great job engaging in the other topics and look forward to having him on again. Also, he's got an impossible challenge right now with the anti-semitism and @netanyahu issues, which he thinks you have to separate. Personally, I don't think you can separate those two issues. My Jewish American friends have all said to me that @netanyahu is the number one cause of anti-semitism in the world today. I agree with them, with @kanyewest being the second.

The fact that “space is fake” is an actual position held by a measurable number of people really proves that we’re in the middle of a retard epidemic. There are people walking around today who somehow have a worse understanding of astronomy than the average Sumerian in the year 3,000 BC. What would it even mean for space to be fake? What, the atmosphere just stretches on forever into eternity? Or is there a roof over the world? Or do you get up really high and accidentally end up in Heaven? How do these retards think it works?
SNAPtok@EBTtok

@MattWalshBlog The ‘space is fake’ black pillers are so obnoxious. It always comes down to a fundamental misunderstanding of physics and technology.

🇦🇪🇮🇷 UAE's Ministry of Defense releases a video of its forces downing Iranian drones. Never in a million years would I have expected Iran and the Gulf to be in a state of military conflict. This war is beyond unnecessary.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Sec. Wright on Iran: "This is not a long-term war. It's a temporary movement." This reminds me of temporary taxes, which are not temporary and then remain forever. I do not believe this war will be quick...

Trump says we might use ground troops! He’s saying we’re going to stay 4-5 more weeks, even though almost the entire regime is gone. At least four US servicemen have been killed. Kuwaitis accidentally shot down three of our jets. But we’re ordered to go deeper into the quagmire.

I’ve been in Minneapolis are for 8 years. The majority of residents are feeling the following. -Embarrassed we are in the national news again (George Floyd) -Think the protesters are nuts for going downtown to fight federal agents -Deeply disturbed by the violence and aggression on both sides -Every single person I’ve talked to wants the craziness to end.

Well, if you guys had voter ID, it would definitely be red however we won the election. We have house and Senate and nothing gets done. It’s not gonna work. I love your optimism though but paying over 50% of my income in taxes having hundreds of billions of dollars of our taxes going to fraud you know there’s just no way out, but I do appreciate the optimism Just be prepared for the worst

@DLMarble @BasedMikeLee It’s a dark time, but I think voting has worked. We have a federal government that is trying, we never knew how screwed we were until recently. Now that more and more of us know we can shift. Minnesota won’t be red after this but it will definitely be a different shade of blue.
