As was / is Gary Clark (Andre Reed is in Canton & Clark isn’t?). Blame NY sportswriters for leaving worthy Skins off of their ballots for HOF enshrinement.

@prohockeyrumors @VogsCaps - Hey Voges - what does GM Chris Patrick hope he has in Kampf? This one is baffling. In fact other than acquiring Sourdif last Summer, Patrick’s acquisitions of players (not Draft picks) since becoming GM are less than stellar. And that’s being charitable!

I felt selling was the smart move by the Caps. But you HAVE to replace what you lose with talented, winning players. GM Chris Patrick has only “hit it outta the park” with the Sourdif trade. That HAS to change this summer with veteran Top 6, goal scoring Forward acquisitions!!

@TheCupitals @JFreshHockey Well said, Cup. The Caps are, however, in need of not just goal scorers next season but also Sandpaper. Willy and Marty are the only really hard to play against players left on the roster (especially if Duhaime gets dealt too - as has been rumored).

@JFreshHockey He's really lost a step and Carbery loved playing him 17 minutes a night. This is one of those moneyball trades from the #ALLCAPS management side. Can't keep blocking younger guys minutes if he's not on the roster. Hope he gets his cup.

@rmnb We ABSOLUTELY should sell. I don’t see this team with the 31st worst power play going to - or advancing in - the playoffs. They can’t score consistently and GM Patrick sadly didn’t fix that deficiency. I’d even ask Ovi if he wants a go at a 2nd Cup elsewhere this Spring. No joke!
