For my first Twitter post, I’ve decided to talk about my favourite fictional Tyrannosaurus rex. No, it’s not a Tyrannosaurus from JP or Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal. It’s this guy - the Primal Carnage Tyrannosaurus.

I never would have known this unless I married a big tiddy goth girl. As we have gone along, I have passively observed the visceral hate that comes over women's faces as though demonically possessed as she is beep-bopping along, minding her own business. We once had a lady from our church show up uninvited and COMMAND my wife to somehow hide her rack because "she is leading all the men and boys to hell". I heard her out and then told her to get out of my house or I would fold her in half and throw her off our back deck. She was shocked at how rude I was in the face of her modest proposal.

I was reading Hannah's story in the Bible tonight again and I learnt this actually. She carried a pain so deep that explanations, encouragement, and even human comfort stopped working. Year after year, she was mocked for being barren, misunderstood by people, and weighed down emotionally. But instead of letting bitterness consume her, Hannah took her pain to God. In the temple, she prayed so intensely that even the priest thought something was wrong with her. She wasn't praying cute religious prayers anymore, she was pouring out years of heartbreak before God. And that encounter changed everything. Some pains isolate you from people, not because you hate them, but because words can no longer heal what only God can touch. Hannah teaches us that the place of deepest pain can become the birthplace of deepest intimacy with God.

There's a level of pain that makes you stop talking to people and start talking to God. ✝️

Two conversion cases that demand explanation: James, the brother of Jesus. During Jesus' ministry, he thought his brother was out of his mind (Mark 3:21). He was not a follower. After the resurrection, he became the leader of the Jerusalem church and died for it. Paul was actively hunting and killing Christians. Then claimed a personal encounter with the risen Jesus and spent the rest of his life being imprisoned and beaten for that claim. What converts a skeptic and a persecutor simultaneously?

The appearances are the hardest fact to explain away. Paul, writing in 1 Corinthians 15:3–8, within 20 years of the crucifixion, lists witnesses: Peter. The twelve. 500 people at once. James. Then Paul himself. He adds: "most of whom are still alive" — an open invitation to go check. This is not mythology written centuries later. This is a legal-style deposition written while eyewitnesses were still alive and verifiable.

People say Jesus isn't real, and yet, his name is the only name that governments ban, cultures mock, demons fear, and persecuted believers cling to with their lives. You don't silence a name unless it carries power.

This person has no clue about anime. So much of anime is inspired by Western and Christian mythology. One of the most famous in that category is Full Metal Alchemist. >The seven homonculi = 7 deadly sins >The Gate of truth straight up quotes Exodus 20:5 >Alchemy circles and iconography borrow heavily from Christian designs. >Ishvalans, the holy war, consuming souls, has a lot of Old Testament vibes > "Father" as a false god parallels Lucifer's rebellion. Then there are others like Evangelion with direct Adam, Lilith, and Eve references, the tree of life, god-like entities, and an actual apocalypse. Then there are others like Beserk with god hand, holy war, and sacrificial rituals... Trigun with a messianic gunslinger vibe, D Grey Man- exorcists wielding holy weapons... and so many more. Every other major ones are hero's journey stories and, overcoming impossible obstacles and never giving up. They use Joseph Campbell's monomyth template everywhere with themes like a call to adventure, trials, mentor, transformation, and the return That's why younger right-wing coded people are fans of anime. It keeps pushing uncomfortable boundries, narratives, and stories that are tacitly anti-woke, so much so that it makes the woke leftists cry. The medium is massive and its like saying TV is left wing coded... it depends on the story. Some are just straight up fanservice hentai, others are more grounded in reality, slice of life, drama, etc etc.

How can anyone be a fan of anime and be right-wing? Most of the narratives fly in the face of right-wing ideology.

Jesus told parables about the kingdom of God. Everything from seeds sown all over the place, to outrageous debts forgiven, to a religious heretic serving as first responder to a half-dead mugging victim. What you will not find in the parables, however, is any inkling that these stories are about you. Here’s a good rule of thumb: if you find yourself as the hero of any parable, you’re doing it wrong. The kingdom in these parables is a kingdom of grace, of upside-down crucifixion theology. The only hero of the parables is the Messiah who gives away the gold of forgiveness like it’s candy; who hides oceans of grace in a drop of faith; and who continually crowns the last, the least, the little, and the lifeless. He is the seed of life sown all over the world, who bears within himself all the life and fruitfulness of the Father. He is the mystery, hidden from ages ago, who manifests himself in the flesh as the Son of Man who comes to tell scandalous stories, die a scandalous death, and be raised again to fill all with his scandalous grace. Matthew, quoting from the psalms, says that Jesus opened his mouth in parables that he might utter “what has been hidden since the foundation of the world,” (13:35; Ps. 78:2). This hidden story has always the story hiding beneath the surface of all the other biblical stories: creation, the Fall, the wanderings of Abraham, the exodus of Israel, all the way through the judges and kings and prophets. There are many stories, but really just one story: the parable of the God who won’t turn his back on humanity. Who keeps on pursuing his lost sheep, throwing parties for runaways, eating and drinking with social and religious pariahs. It’s the old, old story of the friend of sinners who would rather lose heaven and earth than one of his children. That’s The Story of which the parables form one part. The story hidden from the foundation of the world, but publicly displayed atop a cross in the grand and gory epiphany where God pulled open his chest to reveal a heart that beats with an undying love for us. _____ From my preface to Scandalous Stories by Daniel Emery Price and Erick Sorensen, a.co/d/03s57cGQ

I mean this with full sincerity: You don't deserve it. When given the slightest nod, you assholes barge in and police everything about the franchise. To the point of threatening the creators over the smallest shit. This shit has happened repeatedly. And you never change.

Black people aren't "begging" for representation in Japanese media. We just appreciate it when we see it and like to see more of it. I don't see the problem with that.

@Jei_Cos @Truth_matters20 Bold and arrogant of you to assume that God MUST be bothered to get people to follow Him. Especially since, based on X, most people clearly don't want to do so or blatantly try to disprove His existence.

Japan is more than anime or sushi. 🇯🇵 It’s a country where: People still respect tradition. Children clean their own schools. Trains arrive on time. Ancient shrines stand beside modern cities. And honor still means something. That’s why so many people around the world admire Japan. What made YOU fall in love with Japan?

If you live in a godless universe, you can't really criticize my morals because morals can't exist in your universe. I acknowledge that you might not like certain things you consider immoral, but immorality doesn't exist if there is no God.
