Nigeria's aviation sector is in crisis. Unsustainable aviation fuel prices, which have increased by over 300%, have seen operators threaten a complete shutdown, with flight disruptions affecting thousands of passengers. We'll look at the underlying issues on the #MorningCrossfire

I literally had a whole show about expired and repurposed goods in Nigeria that is killing us. Thanks to a report that was done by @BusinessDayNg same day I bought some biscuits from Ebeano in Lekki one only to open it today and see it’s bad. We are indeed in trouble.

With the greatest humility, I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. I warmly welcome the sagacious gesture and extend deepest gratitude to the leadership of both the countries and invite their delegations to Islamabad on Friday, 10th April 2026, to further negotiate for a conclusive agreement to settle all disputes. Both parties have displayed remarkable wisdom and understanding and have remained constructively engaged in furthering the cause of peace and stability. We earnestly hope, that the ‘Islamabad Talks’ succeed in achieving sustainable peace and wish to share more good news in coming days! @realDonaldTrump @JDVance @SecRubio @SteveWitkoff @SEPeaceMissions @drpezeshkian @mb_ghalibaf @araghchi

African Export-Import Bank - Afreximbank
Nigeria is the largest crude oil producer on the continent, yet it has long depended on imported refined fuel. For years, fuel had to be brought in from abroad, leaving the country exposed to rising costs and long queues at stations. Aliko Dangote built one of the world’s largest single train refineries to change that. With close to $10 billion deployed by Afreximbank, the refinery is now exceeding Nigeria’s domestic fuel needs. Queues are clearing and prices are beginning to adjust. Watch the full episode, Dangote. Colossal Transformation on YouTube. There is something profoundly reassuring about the friendship between Ghana and Zimbabwe. It has endured the test of time, it has adapted to changing circumstances, and remains anchored in the mutual respect and trust that exist between us. We celebrated that friendship when I hosted President Emmerson Mnangagwa to a state banquet last night. #GhanaZimbabwe

All safety and precautionary instructions in the Old City are a direct result of Iranian missile fire. As is known, the Iranian regime has fired on the Old City on multiple occasions, striking sites in the vicinity of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Western Wall. In light of this, and in order to protect the lives of worshippers of all faiths, precautionary instructions have been issued for all holy sites of all religions, and mass gatherings are not possible. The concern over a mass-casualty event in the Old City is particularly acute given the area’s density and the difficulty of deploying first responders in such an incident. The police will meet with Cardinal Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, and work to explore solutions that allow for as normal a routine as possible while ensuring public safety.

I will always make decisions in the national interest. That’s why we did not join the offensive action against Iran.    Reform and the Tories would’ve rushed us into war without a plan to get us out.
