Alisson Santana (19, RW) 🇧🇷
I've seen many people talking about Kevin and Newerton, but Alisson Santana is my favorite winger in this Shakhtar team. He had a few injuries while breaking through at Atletico Mineiro, but since moving to Shakhtar he has been brilliant, especially during the UCL Qualifiers this summer.
Style of Play:
Standing at 183 cm tall, Santana is an explosive, powerful winger with very high footballing IQ.
Strengths:
The first thing that stands out when watching Santana is his powerful frame and explosivity. He's a strong dribbler who uses sharp cuts and changes of pace to beat defenders, aided by fantastic carrying technique where he uses his body and hands to shield the ball effectively. This combination of shifty dribbling style and explosivity allows him to create separation in the box, getting shots off with ease. His ball striking is excellent, particularly on his left foot which is much more accurate, though his weaker right foot is also very capable. He's a willing box crasher who often finds opportunities at the back post, and he's also a fantastic passer from deeper areas of the pitch, picking out runners with ease. His movement is intelligent too - he makes great runs off the back shoulders of defenders, creating good opportunities and one-on-ones with the keeper.
Weaknesses:
His main weaknesses stem from consistency in his actions. He can sometimes be a bit lazy, whether in his shooting or with his first touch, allowing the ball to get further away from him than ideal.
