Can conservatives from the US explain to me why the VA gerrymander (which was approved by voters) is not OK, while the one in TX and others in the South are? Please make a serious, good-faith effort. No German random posters please. PS: I think all gerrymandering is bad.

@cecegkh Last year, headed to Tulum from Denver, direct. 7 of us scanned tickets to board, they pulled two of us aside and said we didnt have seats and need to wait. They shut the doors w/ no guidance and told us to run down to new gate to board to Chicago to connect to Cancun. the worst.

Frontier Airlines overbooked several flights that day, not an uncommon occurrence on flights, but what they did next was crazy. Instead of asking for volunteers to fly at a later time with compensation, they just began denying people seats and telling them that they were “late” for their flight. (They had been in that line for over an hour and a half.) Now here is where it gets even crazier. They were offering to put those removed from the flight on a later flight, but it would cost them an EXTRA $100 to do so. Would you just pay the $100 or would you demand a refund for your ticket? Obviously the young guy in the video is pissed. Is he in the right or is Frontier?

Can Rob Aurich Fix Nebraska’s Run-Fit Problem? Why He Might Work — and Why He Might Not — in the Big Ten Nebraska’s defense in 2025 had one glaring flaw that showed up every single week on tape: 👉 Run fits were inconsistent — especially at the second level. 👉 Linebackers false-stepped, overpursued, and lost gap leverage. 👉 Too many 5- to 8-yard gains on plays that should’ve been stuffed. That’s where the appeal of San Diego State’s defensive coordinator comes in. If Nebraska wants to fix run fit discipline fast, this is a guy whose calling card is exactly that: ✔️ Clean, consistent gap fits ✔️ Linebacker discipline ✔️ Physicality at the point of attack ✔️ High 1st-down success rates ✔️ Stacking weak offenses in a bodybag But the question isn’t just: “Does he fix Nebraska’s biggest weakness?” The question is: “Does he survive the Big Ten?” Because SDSU’s results paint a picture that’s both promising and concerning. 👍THE GOOD: Why He Could Work at Nebraska 1. Elite Run-Fit Teaching — The Thing Nebraska Needs Most SDSU’s front seven is the most disciplined part of their defense. Their linebackers rarely: Overrun gaps Get out of phase Lose force/contain Bite on window dressing Get washed out by crossers Nebraska struggled with every single one of those in 2025. This hire immediately tightens up Nebraska’s run structure — especially on early downs. 2. SDSU Suffocates Bad and Average Offenses Here’s what SDSU did to offenses with composite O-ranks 60+: 0 to Cal 0 to Fresno 0 to Stony Brook 3 to NIU 3 to San José State 7 to Wyoming 10 to Nevada And note: several of these teams are run-first programs. These aren’t fluke shutouts — they come from: Proper lane integrity Strong interior fits Winning leverage Physically overwhelming weaker OLs Nebraska would immediately see improvement vs: Iowa Northwestern Minnesota Penn State Games that should’ve been automatic wins but turned into trench slogs. 3. The Big Ten Is Still a Trench League While Oregon, Indiana, OSU, USC bring fireworks… Most of the Big Ten is still: Gap-scheme run Duo Counter GT/TE insert Iso variations You don’t need a genius to beat that. You need: 👉 LB discipline 👉 Violent downhill fits 👉 A DC who doesn’t get cute on early downs SDSU’s coordinator excels in this exact world. 👎THE BAD: Why He Might Struggle — and Why This Hire Isn’t Automatic 1. SDSU’s Defense Fell Apart vs Speed + Spread Spacing Three critical games reveal a ceiling problem: Washington State (41) Good - 36 Outpaced, outspread, outschemed Hawai‘i (73) Below Avg - 38 Scheme collapse vs tempo and spacing New Mexico (109) Terrible - 23 (2OT) Disappointing performance These aren’t the offenses you expect to torch you. And that’s the concern: 👉 His system handles “line up and beat me” football. 👉 It struggles vs motion, stack/bunch, choice routes, spread iso matchups. In the Big Ten, where you face: Oregon’s tempo Penn State’s speed Indiana’s spacing USC/Washington’s WR rooms This becomes a real problem. 2. Limited Post-Snap Disguise His coverage structure is: Simple Assignment-based Leverage/soundness > confusion Great for teaching run fits. Not great for hiding intentions against elite QBs. John Butler thrived because of: Late rotations Match-quarters variations Coverage disguise Changing post-snap pictures SDSU’s DC would be a downgrade in that area. 3. Lack of Adjustments vs Quality Passing Offenses When SDSU’s plan got punched in the mouth, the defense didn’t counterpunch. This is the biggest contrast with Butler: Butler adjusts. SDSU tends to endure. In the Big Ten, enduring = dying. THE NEUTRAL: This Hire Isn’t a “Yes” or “No” — It’s a Fit Question This isn’t a boom-or-bust hire. It’s a fit hire. ✔️ If Nebraska wants a DC to FIX RUN FITS → This is your guy. ✔️ If Nebraska wants to win shootouts vs Oregon and USC → This is not your guy. ✔️ If Nebraska wants discipline, toughness, consistency → He fits. ✔️ If Nebraska wants schematic creativity and coverage disguise → He doesn’t. Nebraska’s defense under Rhule has two identities: Elite pass defense Inconsistent run defense This hire flips that to: Elite run defense Good-but-not-great pass defense Is that worth it? Reasonable minds can disagree. ---------------------------------------- ☠️ BLACKSHIRT MEDIA FINAL TAKE If Nebraska wants to clean up second-level fits, stop losing gap integrity, and force teams into 3rd-and-long, this is a legitimate, sensible hire. But he is not a silver bullet. He will raise Nebraska’s floor. He will not reinvent their ceiling. He fixes the problem Nebraska actually has. But he introduces new problems Nebraska doesn’t currently have. This is the safest way to say it: **He’ll make Nebraska better in November trench fights. He may not help Nebraska beat Oregon in October.** Whether that tradeoff is worth it comes down to what kind of team Matt Rhule wants Nebraska to be.

Nebraska has hired San Diego State’s Rob Aurich as the school’s next defensive coordinator. Aurich’s SDSU defense ranked #5 in scoring, allowing just 12.6 ppg.

🚨Breaking from Bethpage 🚨 This is from an insider who was on premise all week at Bethpage. 100% verified. This person wants it known that it wasn’t just pairings and setup. Team USA simply didn’t prepare! Why did Team USA start off seemingly lost? Why couldn’t they read a green for two days? How was Europe so ready? Is it so simple that Team USA barely played Bethpage Black, while Team Europe played it over and over? Imagine how much better they would know the course with 7-8 plays versus 1-2 plays for the Americans. This is hugely embarrassing. We have all been focused on the setup and pairings, rightly. But if this is accurate, Team USA simply didn’t play the course they were playing for the Cup enough! This person gave permission for me to release this info. He/She wants it known how unserious the USA team took this event. There is real anger that the USA Team presents that they are 100% invested, when in reality that’s not true. Or at least they didn’t prepare like it’s a major. If this is true, I’m pissed and all team USA fans should be pissed.
