His constituents should care. Because he is using his power and position to take advantage of women. He will use his power and position in other inappropriate ways. It’s not that difficult to understand. And how do you know they did so willingly? He may have told them they will lose their jobs if they don’t cooperate.

BREAKING - Numerous women, including a 19-year-old teenager, have come forward to blow the whistle on California Rep. and governor candidate Eric Swalwell, claiming he has been sleeping with his interns and staffers and forcing them to sign NDAs to keep quiet.

@TheTree @the_jefferymead Calling the US the enemy and cheering the death of US soldiers is not “speaking up against the government”. The question you should be asking is what is THEIR plan?

These individuals are literally in the US hoping for the downfall of our country. Who we let into the country matters. Defending our values and protecting our country matters. Who you vote for matters. This is wild.

How about showing a little respect and sympathy for a father that lost his daughter? Aren’t you supposed to be the ones who care about people’s feelings? What you’re missing is Gov Pritzker was in MN just for a photo opp so that people like you will continue to vote for him. What you’re missing is his policies were directly responsible for her death.

.@GovPritzker, I saw your post honoring lives lost in Minnesota—standing publicly, naming Alex Pretti and Renee Good, and laying flowers in their memory. But where was that same compassion on January 19, 2025? That is the day my 20-year-old daughter, Katie Abraham, was killed here in Illinois. She was innocent. She did not knowingly put herself in the middle of an ongoing law enforcement situation. She was not making a dangerous choice. She was simply living her life—and it was taken from her. You have never said her name. You have never come to where she died. You have never acknowledged her publicly. And beyond that—you have never even responded to me. I sent you a simple, non-political letter. Not for attention. Not for headlines. Just a father asking for clarity, for answers, and for understanding of the state’s position. You never replied. And now, in the wake of another tragedy here in Chicago, your public display of compassion elsewhere—while remaining silent about victims in your own state—feels deeply disconnected from the reality families like mine are living every day. Instead, you continue to defend sanctuary policies that create the conditions where preventable tragedies like hers can happen. This is not about politics. It’s about leadership and accountability. When you choose to publicly mourn some victims while remaining silent about others—especially those lost under policies you support—it sends a message. Whether intentional or not, it tells families like mine that our loss does not matter the same way. So I am asking you directly: Where is your compassion for my daughter? Where is your acknowledgment of victims here in Illinois? And when will you take responsibility for the consequences of the policies you defend? Say her name: Katie Abraham. Stand where she died. Show the people of Illinois that every life matters.
Governor JB Pritzker@GovPritzker

Standing with Minnesotans tonight and paying my respects to Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

@jojo_grammy @mattvanswol @C_3C_3 No Maria Hadden. Sounds like he was about to rob them at gunpoint but they noticed him first and ran away and he shot her in the back. All could have been prevented if they had deported him when they caught him previously for shoplifting.

I also appreciate your civil discourse. Yes these extremist groups are a minority but unfortunately a minority out of 2 billion Islamists is obviously still large enough to cause these issues in the world. One could argue though that this minority is actually following the Quran more strictly than the majority. No disrespect to you but I believe the Prophet Muhammad himself used religion for political gain and control over people and this minority is simply following him. I do agree that Western societies are naively and dangerously giving these extremists a space to grow their agenda. Hopefully, the current administration in the U.S. will help stop some of that. But yes the rest of the Western world needs to wake up. But I also believe the peaceful majority Muslims need to speak up more against these extremists like you are. On a personal note I hope and pray you will find Jesus and that you will become a believer and follower of Him some day.

First, thank you for discussing this politely. That is something we badly need more of today. I do agree with you on one point: these extremist groups are a minority, and they do not represent Islam. They may claim to follow the same Prophet, but they do so by twisting meanings, abusing context, and using religion to serve power and politics. In reality, many of these people are driven less by faith and more by pressure groups, ideological networks, and political agendas that want influence and control. That is why you will not find most of these extremist types in Saudi Arabia. If they acted that way there, they would be imprisoned. Unfortunately, many Western societies have given space, rights, and protection to people with extreme beliefs without seriously examining their backgrounds, motives, or ideology. That has allowed them to become a problem, and in many cases they are then used by others to push wider agendas through fanatic and unstable minds.

You’re exactly right. But you are part of the silent majority. The radical, violent minority has become the face of your Prophet because the silent majority becomes irrelevant. And I ask you to truly seek the truth. Where are these hostile Muslims getting their ideas? Perhaps it is from the same Prophet that you follow.

This is not civilized conduct. Prophet Muhammad was insulted, mocked, and stoned, yet he still delivered his message with dignity. Truth does not need chaos, and conviction does not need this kind of behavior. This is the highest official in the country, and he came to be with you on that day. You may disagree with him, but turning the moment into hostility only reflects badly on those doing it.

I have been warning the West about Islamic terrorism for decades. My non-profit organization was de-platformed and de-banked because of the SPLC, ADL, and CAIR. They slandered me by accusing me of not just being Islamophobic, but running the "largest Islamophobic hate group" in America and being the number 1 purveyor of Islamophobia worldwide. It would have been easy for me to quit and retire, but I know the threat we face is truly life threatening. I've lived in Lebanon where I watched my home country go from majority Christian and a thriving nation, to a terrorist hell-hole. I will not give up on America. The left has attacked me and my organization for years, and we are not going anywhere. I ask that you join me as a donor or activist today. Whether it's $5 or $500 or 5 minutes or 5 years of your time -- you can make a difference with ACT for America. Join me TODAY: ACTforAmerica.org

🚨ISLAM HAS CONQUERED NEW YORK: Mayor on His Knees While Terror Attacks Rage—Imagine If a Christian Did This🚨 Islamic terror attacks are hitting us on the regular, and now NYC's mayor is on his knees in the state capitol, bowing to it all. Islam isn't just a religion—it's a political ideology that's conquered New York. The people there were too blind to see it coming. Imagine if Speaker Mike Johnson did this? The left would scream "separation of church and state!" like they did when Trump had religious leaders pray. But Islam? It's at war with the West, and no one's batting an eye. Wake up, America! 🇺🇸 #IslamConquersNY #DoubleStandards #WarOnTheWest #WakeUp

Seriously where are the “separation of church and state” people when you actually need them. Or does it only apply to Christianity? When will people realize Islam is not simply a “religion”… it exists to take away your freedoms, change your way of life and to replace your laws with their laws. America needs to wake up. Open our eyes, Lord.

.@JamesTalarico: Do you know any undocumented immigrants? Voter: No, I do not. Talarico: When I was a teacher on the west side of San Antonio, I taught a lot of students who were undocumented. Those students understood something about this country that even I, as a native born American, often take for granted. They believed that this was a land of opportunity, and they were ready to do whatever it took to make it in this country. That's what generations of Italian and Irish immigrants did in this country. And I think if we welcome folks who want to contribute and be Americans, it's gonna make us stronger and richer—because it already has.

This is the problem with so much of modern day Christianity. An American athlete accepts millions of dollars to compete for her nation’s communist enemies, and I am chided that I should frame this as simply making “different choices” rather than what it is— betraying her country. Christianity is not a religion of obfuscation or childish inability to call things by their clear names. And Eileen Gu’s traitorous “choices” are a disgrace. Her name should become a watchword in the United States for how NOT to conduct oneself in the athletic arena. She shows no principles, no virtue. And I, for one, want my kids to understand unequivocally how incredibly disappointed I would be, how I would feel I had failed as a parent, if they were to make similar “choices.”
William Hillis@WilliamEHillis

@megbasham Why is that even relevant? I'm also a lifelong Christian, Megan. There are Chinese Christians on the Mainland as well. Why are we going after an athlete whose choices aren't different from any of scores of others?

NEW: Bishop Robert Barron calls out AOC for calling Western culture "thin," says she is taking a page out of the Marxist playbook. "The [Western] culture that gave us all those great figures that gave us the rule of law, that gave us respect for the rights of the individual, that gave us our democratic political system, that gave us the university system... that's thin?" ... "It concerns me, not just as someone who follows politics, but as a bishop of the Catholic church..." "Marx himself said the first critique is a critique of religion... The first thing that the Marxist tyrannies went after in most cases was religion." "I'm getting a little concerned that in some of these leading figures in our own politics, a Marxist philosophy is taking hold." Video: @BishopBarron
