The reason they think that way is because they keep rationalising their loyalty to a uniparty that does not genuinely represent their interests. We are now seeing the Liberal Party slowly move away from promoting anti-Australian political figures like Sussan Ley and toward promoting more moderate centrists like Angus Taylor. That is happening because polling is showing weaker blind loyalty to the left-leaning uniparty. The uniparty will always shift left whenever it believes ordinary voters can be taken for granted, and many of its centrist policies will not even be implemented if it takes power. Nothing will change until voters consistently back One Nation or parties further to the right. Only then will the uniparty stop taking your vote for granted, and anti-Australian political figures we typically see now will stop being promoted within it. The most important thing is to keep voting further right so that every party must continue chasing your vote. These uniparties are always looking for the first chance to stop appealing to regular voters and start appealing to Greens voters instead. Never give them that chance, as Nick says here.
