He came in the evening at around 6pm with his colleague. My late father’s best friend/colleague(senior officer of LICI)also came and they together waited for 4 hours for the Thane ka badasaab to arrive. He came at around 8pm and refused entry to my brother’s colleague rudely and asked him to wait outside. Inside he sat my brother down and started showing my previous tweets saying,upar se order hai,if you want your sister to be safe and sound and complete her degree ask her to stop tweeting about the case altogether otherwise the consequences will be dire. It’s best she deletes everything and stops tweeting altogether about the case. He was very rude and said insulted both my brother and uncle(father’s colleague). My mom cried a lot and asked me to deactivate my account and I did.

I finally got the courage to post the aftermath of this incident because I feel everyone should know. The polic after coming to my home(kgp) with 3 vehicles,2-3 female constables,SHO and asking me to delete the tweet asked me to report to Kharagpur town thana the next day. I was in Kolkata and the very next day there was a strike in protest of the incident. I consulted 2-3 senior doctors whom I know from Twitter and they got me in touch with higher authorities and lawyers. They told me to mail an apology l and framed it as well. I still remember the anxiety attacks I used to get every time the doorbell rang. Got no response to my emails. My brother went and waited for 4 hours in the PS and left as the SHO didn’t arrive.Just 2 days after,2 police officers again went to my home at around 8am when my brother was getting ready for work,he was told to immediately come to the police station. He insisted,May I come after office hours(he’s an administrative officer in a central govt. job) to which they said No,it’s urgent. He drove to the PS and then waited for the officer to arrive. He waited for 3-4 hours and left to again come in the evening after his office hours.

@kp53331 @plot_twistttt Cheating is not correct but it is not a crime either. It is a moral wrong. Once cheating has happened, dissolve the marriage and move on. But in India, divorce takes years and people can't put life on hold for 10 years. Better to make divorce swift and let everyone move on.

#WATCH | Guwahati, Assam: BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia says, "Yesterday, the BCCI and the IPL announced the venues for the playoff matches. We have the Qualifiers and Playoffs, as well as the Final match. Therefore, we have selected three venues. One venue is Dharamshala; the first playoff match will take place there. Subsequently, there will be an Eliminator and another playoff match. Thus, the second and third matches will be held in New Chandigarh, while the Final is scheduled to take place on May 31st at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Initially—in accordance with standard protocol—the defending champions (or the champion franchise from the previous year) are entitled to host the Final, as well as one playoff match, at their home venue. RCB was the defending champion last year; therefore, this match should have ideally been held in Bangalore. However, due to certain circumstances arising from recent developments, the BCCI and the IPL were compelled to make the decision to shift the venue away from Bangalore—allocating one match to New Chandigarh and the other to the Narendra Modi Stadium, which is the designated venue for the Final in Ahmedabad. As per IPL protocol, we are required to provide only 15% of the total seating capacity as complimentary tickets to the host association. This constitutes the standard protocol; all host state associations receive a 15% allocation of their total capacity in the form of complimentary tickets. However, we received information from various sources indicating that during the hosting of IPL league matches, the Karnataka State Association was claiming a significantly higher number of complimentary tickets—far exceeding the stipulated 15%. Consequently, we sent them an email requesting precise details regarding this matter. We were shocked when we received a response via email from the Karnataka State Cricket Association on May 2nd; in that email, they stated that—over and above the 15% complimentary ticket quota—they would require an additional, substantial allocation of tickets for their members, affiliated clubs, and various others. Most surprisingly, they also requested tickets for their local Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and Members of the Legislative Council. And also to the government of Karnataka, 700 complimentary tickets. Thus, over and above the 15% allocation, they were demanding approximately 10,000 additional tickets. And as you are all aware, the BCCI serves as the host body for the Playoff and Final matches. Therefore, we cannot violate our protocols by issuing tickets in excess of what is permitted under the IPL's rules and regulations—specifically, the 15% complimentary quota allocated to the host state. Consequently, we were compelled to make the difficult decision to relocate the matches from Karnataka..."

I don't mind all the ICC tournament finals being held in the biggest stadium of the country. The IPL has established criteria for selecting the venue of Finals. Between the uneven distribution of bilateral games and the abandonment of venue rotation, it's hard to digest these moves. When you bend the sport for political optics, the fans and the spirit of the game lose out. Let cricket thrive.

@imAyush97 @CSKian716 Well instead of assuming, if you get a chance just give a try watching a match at NMS. The stadium is so big that its hard to give justice on camera. Assuming stuff and overplaying other stadium without experiencing NMS in real-- it just feels your hate for the stadium.

BCCI has its own invitations for media, foreigners, and influencers that help popularize the event; thus, they can't give 4-5 tickets..

Why is it okay for @IPL @BCCI league matches to go on with MLA tickets, but suddenly it’s a problem when it comes to playoffs? Just dissolve all franchises& play everything in Gujarat. @RCBTweets show some spine.This is a clear injustice&insult to the city& its fans.
