Freaking Elon is going down in history as the most important figure in American Politics. Unwinding the swamp is no easy task and he has the courage to root out waste / corruption and modernize government systems. It’s wild to watch a cornered swamp fight back. What a time to be alive! Core HR systems (onboarding, job histories, org chart, benefits, etc.) are not consolidated in the federal workforce. From a March 2025 @USGSA survey of 29 agencies, there are 111 instances of 59 unique HR software products offered by 19 commercial vendors and 11 federal “vendors”. Price per employee for these systems are 3-10x higher than in private industry. And the majority of said systems do not allow the agencies to easily create or view a basic org chart. DOGE and agencies are working to fix, with pilot projects starting this week.

When kids think they need to transition, they are put on hormone blockers after intensive counseling so that they can grow up & make the choice. Kids don’t transition. Adults do. Kids live as their pre-transitioned self as a test.
