Hundreds of millions of people throughout the world are immersed in extreme poverty. Yet, disproportionate wealth remains in the hands of a few. It is an unjust scenario, in the face of which we cannot fail to question ourselves and commit to change things. There is no lack of resources at the root of disparities, but the need to address solvable problems related to a more equitable distribution of wealth, to be achieved with moral sense and honesty.

My attitude for the rest of 2026.

We are going to see an accelerating tide of these admissions and conversions as the coming weeks and months pass. And the job of those of us who have opposed Trump for years is to resist saying "I told you so," or "you knew better," or "who needs you," but rather to say "thank you for seeing the light," and to ask people who previously supported Trump to help us stand up now for the impeachment and removal of that terrible man so that we rid ourselves of him sooner, rather than later. The survival of our nation as a constitutional republic depends in no small part on such grace.

@davidhogg111 When you say “get shit done,” you’re talking about Josh Shapiro, who would probably be the best POTUS. Unfortunately, I don’t think this country will elect a Jew/Woman/Brown/Gay person at this point in time.

This has got to be one of the dumbest takes I have seen in a long time. We need to nominate someone with a few things A) a history of making government actually work for everyday people B) evidence of moral leadership on controversial issues like Gaza, abortion, guns C) a vision for a post Trump America that makes people actually feel hope for the future D) has stood up to special interests/corporations and fought corruption. Whoever answers that call will be the best. Americans want someone who can get shit done, fight corruption and give them a sense of hope that our country is going in the right direction. Bonus points if you have good relationships in the Senate and/or have won in a purple state
