My dad passed today around 3:45pm. It’s a weird sad but happy feeling. He has suffered so long & it was hard to watch the last couple of weeks. Now he is in Paradise pain free, happy, & with our Lord. This gif may seem wrong but if you knew my dad, it would make you smile.

@sewistwrites I read the book for the 1st time this yr & haven't rewatched the movie but while reading it, so many scenes popped into my head & made me picture them more clearly. For me, the movies are almost more nostalgia than anything, although, from my memory, they did a great job.

I had to shut someone down after they came onto a FB post of mine today with this “DEI” garbage. She was a friend of 15 yrs. & a professing Christian. I told her I wouldn’t tolerate that kind of talk on my FB & she ended the friendship.
