Youre misinterpreting the original point. Yes, you can eat and do whatever you want, youll reap the phal of your karma. This is established. As a side note, aghoris eat flesh and other tamasic things to even show that brahman is beyond tamas...tamas does not move you away from brahman, brahman is beyond the gunas. Putting all that on the side, the fact of the matter is that its very difficult to call someone a Hindu if they have no love, or at the very minimum, respect, for our devta. I hope that is not controversial. (just as its very difficult to say you love your family if you spit on their picture). If cows are dear to our devta, and they protected them and cherished them, it makes very little sense to say someone who slaughters cows and eats them has love for the devta. And if you have no love or respect for Govind, Mahadev, Shakti, etc., then it's fair to say youre not really a Hindu. It's a fair and reasonable conclusion despite "everything being brahman".

That is precisely the point, sir, there is nothing to justify to anyone. You can invoke "Mother" or any other sentiment, but my rationale remains unchanged. In the Singularity which is the ultimate truth according to Hindu scriptures there is no concept of Moral/Immoral or Good/Bad. Everything is Brahman. Your feelings, your attachments all of it is an illusion. To reach that ultimate truth, one of the simplest ways out of many is to purify the soul through Satvik consumption. This refines your essence your "stardust" to the specific density required to travel to higher realms (Swarga). This is the philosophy of Karma. There are tribes in existence that are cannibalistic. The Aghoris also consume human flesh. Are they not Hindus? JFI they have very high rank and considered divine in Hinduism. Hinduism categorizes matters into Satvik, Tamasic, and Rajasic. Nothing is strictly prohibited you are free to consume whatever you wish. However, it is advisable to consume Satvik elements because they aid in reaching higher realms. The mechanics of Karma simply dictate that the more Tamasic elements you consume, the further you drift from the Singularity (i.e., Brahman). You are not expelled from Hinduism simply for consuming meat. My simplest understanding is : The Vedas are a source of knowledge and philosophy about life, not a monolithic rulebook. I would advise all everyone explore them once. 🙏

The rule is, anyone who eats Beef is not Hindu, it's basic requirement for being a Hindu. If someone does not eat but feels that it's okay if someone choses to eat, he is also not a Hindu.

I am not a scholar, but I explore and try to interpret scriptures to the modern intellect—a job traditionally for Shankaracharyas but we know what they are doing rightnow🤷🏻‍♂️. The claim that a beef eater cannot be Hindu is theologically flawed; since every particle is Brahman and we consume the very trees we worship, consumption does not negate divinity. The distinction is mechanical, not moral. While the Singularity of Brahman is beyond concepts of 'good or bad,' the journey there is governed by the molecular density of your consciousness, which is itself a result of Karma. Consuming Tamsik food increases this density, weighing the soul down and binding it to lower, high-density realms. To ascend to Vaikuntha, one requires a lighter, Satvik form. Hinduism is a philosophy designed to liberate consciousness from this illusion of karmic density, not a rigid rulebook.

because you cannot OBJECTIVELY prove the truth of the foundation text which underlies all of these beliefs. But for the text(s), you would not believe these things. Everything is rational if you choose to believe that the foundational story is true. But you cannot objectively prove the foundational story is true (outside of the text saying its true) so...its wrong. And we're not even getting to the different interpretations of the text(s). Some interpretations lead to pretty horrific results, some are tame. Which is right? Obviously whichever you choose to believe. it's turtles all the way down.
