Any decent human would’ve given her one more guava and politely told her not to pluck fruits without permission henceforth. But we Indians have becomes such callous monsters who think a child deserves to be tied and beaten like animals over it. What could’ve been a nice childhood memory became a lifelong trauma for this poor girl.

@komal_42 Result is they get isolated in a country where there is already loneliness and different cultures bringing them down, then they hv to fight depression and life and career challenges. Well not all but some do.

The Indians who left India back l between 70s to 90s … think that India is stuck in the same place as they left it. They have kids outside of India and their kids also grow up thinking that. @musing_monica Its not about skills and even then you get left behind after upgrading. What everyone needs is to use early years to create or find something else to earn moneh.. aka second source of income. Thats the only way you can manage risk and uncertainty of job.

And if there were strong students around or a teacher, its risky though but would have been better to stop these stupid gun carrying kids and gave them a beating or a proper old school lesson/punishment.
