@paunchETH @TheSmarmyBum @doodles I know it isn't, but this reads like LLM logic. "Focus on holders", how exactly? Kennel or otherdeeds fiasco? Otherworld instead of clubhouse? Ape chain ? I'll give em ape fest tho, that's lit. Im glad floor price is up regardless tho

I’d suggest it’s not completely fair to expect Bored Apes playbook to work the same for pudgy or for doodles or any other project and have the same floor pumping effect. Now for sure on some fronts more could be done to fill this void for holders and make them “feel” something. - usually those feelings come are stirred by price goes up. Which isn’t sustainable in and of itself. But as I see it, This space and its current amount of active participants is far too small to support an ecosystem where doodles, pudgy, Azuki etc can just focus on holders like BAYC. So imo, while BAYC has always had that card in their hands and is now playing it. I’d suggest no other project really has that card even in their hand, let alone be able to play it and it be not only effective but at all sustainable. In most cases people only have the capacity to be really tapped into 1 maybe 2 communities at a time. And so these teams are in a tough spot. ESPECIALLY without royalties on the NFT volume. Focus on holders and eventually bankrupt the company and go under, or try to avoid this by building outside of a space that can’t sustain its continued existence unless this space grows. Appreciate your thoughts man!

Pudgy has done a fantastic job building the IP and the company, but it hasn't done much for the NFT. BAYC focused on holders, and the floor is now double Pudgy. We've been sold this narrative that growing the IP is beneficial to holders and it's just not true. @Doodles is another example of this. People will just enjoy the IP wherever they interact with it, they're not going buy a Pudgy toy at Walmart then create a metamask wallet and buy a $10,000 NFT

@trading_axe Comparing khamzat who won vs bums and struggled vs non bums, vs khabib or topuria is CRAZY. Maybe the hype is right, but that's just hype.

I don’t recommend you guys copy this, It’s actually one of the silliest bets and the only way to actually profit is by max sizing. If you lose, you lose it all. There’s no salvaging any of it. And if you win, it doesn’t even compare to the loss potential whatsoever. But at the end of the day, It’s one of the most confident bets I think I will ever be able to take in the UFC. Pillow-hands hypersensitive Strickland vs High-T terrorist energy Chimaev. Guys genuinely think: What are some of the freest “THIS IS 100% A WIN” layups you’ve seen in the UFC? When Khabib and McGregor fought, We knew Khabib would win, But I wasn’t supremely confident because McGregor was still ELITE and one of the best at the time. When Topuria fights Gaethje, I still wouldn’t “all in” on Topuria, Topuria will win, but Gaethje’s “still got it” just as good. Chimaev vs Strickland? I can’t 3D model a single scenario in my brain where Strickland does ANYTHING. He’s going to get ragdolled badly. It’s like sending a lamb straight to the slaughterhouse. If Strickland had KO power, I would never do this. Does Strickland have better endurance and could possibly outlast Chimaev with teep kicks and 1-2s? MAYBE, if they were just strikers. However Chimaev’s dominant grappling will be a long day for anyone trying to go the distance. Btw the numbers are without commas because the provider did that change - idk why. ~ Dr. Axius.

Abstract is the biggest liability for Pudgy Penguins When you’re up, it’s easy to take swing at the fence & do more But when the hype fades, these can turn out as the biggest drawdown It happened with BAYC & Otherside Otherside was once seen as the biggest bear case for BAYC And it took Yuga a while (with a lot of fixing the basics, offloading, & getting back to roots) to tie everything together: > BAYC as the main NFT > Otherside as the home for ALL NFTs > ApeChain as the tech behind Otherside > $APE as the currency behind Otherside Now, the ape ecosystem is humming For Abstract to succeed, Igloo must define the reason for its existence & sync the existence of Pudgy Penguins & $PENGU with it Because if not, Abstract will just be a confusing part of the portfolio & people will clamor for the removal of it as it pulls the main brand down

I think this is going to be one of the best UFC fights in a long time and people are sleeping on it. JDM vs Prates - worth mentioning that the odds flipped and Prates became a favourite [they're p much the same anyway]. JDM's underwhelming performance and loss to Islam likely plays a large role in the slight underdog odds but people are forgetting that JDM is one of the cleanest strikers in the UFC. Not fast, not powerful, not flashy, just clean. VS Prates with insane power in his shots and hunting the chin with sniper accuracy. Nigga is blessed with the "touch of death" and that's something JDM doesn't have. Sure, JDM gets reactions whenever he lands to the body and can pop nonetheless. But this boils down to VOLUME VS POWER and I don't think the fight goes the distance. If it stays in the pocket, Jack has the fight IQ to put in work. If it's at the end of Prates' range, Prates will destroy him [calf kicks are on another level] and prob KO him. Also if you niggaz watch JDM vs Belal, Belal is a trash boxer and did MAD DAMAGE to JDM. The same level of damage vs Prates will result in a brutal finish. Even if you don't watch the UFC, you should tune in to watch this fight. They've done a shit job with promo. ~ Dr. Axius.

@poof_eth @chrisjpegs Here I thought the correct answer was to save rent/food and utilities by moving into the dying families place, they are probably in the hospital 😂

Had a Jane Street interview in 2013 that still bothers me. It was my 6th round. Final interview. The guy walks in carrying no laptop, no notebook, just a cold brew and what I later realized was a single IKEA tea candle. He writes on the whiteboard: food: $200 rent: $800 utilities: $150 candles: $3,600 family: dying Then he turns around and says, “Optimize.” I laughed because I thought it was a culture-fit bit. He did not laugh. So I said, “Well, obviously you spend less on candles.” He says, “Assume candles are non-discretionary.” Okay. I start building a model. Basic constraint satisfaction. Family survival as a soft penalty. Candles as a state variable. Maybe there’s an arbitrage where you buy wholesale paraffin and convert the $3,600 line item into inventory. He stops me. “You’re thinking like a consultant.” That’s when I knew I was in trouble. He says, “Give me a bid-ask on family dying.” I say, “What?” He says, “You’re long candles, short family. Where do you make markets?” I try to recover. I say the real issue is liquidity: rent and utilities are fixed, food is elastic, candles are emotionally inelastic. Therefore the optimal strategy is to securitize future candle enjoyment and borrow against it. He nods for the first time. Then he asks, “What time do you sell the candles?” I say, “Whenever the market is liquid?” He says, “Be more specific.” I say, “Uh… 10 a.m. Eastern?” For the first time, he smiles. He goes, “Every day?” I say, “Every day.” He says, “In size?” I say, “In size.” He says, “And what do we call that?” I say, “Market manipulation?” The room gets very quiet. He looks disappointed and writes something down. “No. We call it providing liquidity to candle ETFs during the U.S. cash open.” I try to save it. “Right. Of course. The family isn’t dying because we underfunded them. They’re just experiencing temporary price discovery.” He nods again. Then he points back at the board. I had missed it. The utility bill was $150, but candles provide light. You can zero out utilities. I update the budget: food: $200 rent: $800 utilities: $0 candles: $3,750 family: still dying, but now in a more capital-efficient way He says, “How confident are you?” I say, “0.95.” He smiles and circles candles. “0.95 huh?” Then he asks me to estimate how many leveraged longs get liquidated if we dump $3,750 of candles at 10:00:01 every morning for 90 consecutive trading days. Needless to say I did not get the offer.

Jane Street made ~$40B in 2025 with 3,500 employees, a ~2x from the year before. At ~65-70% profit margin, that's $8M profit / employee, the highest for a 1000+ ppl company. High-frequency trading continues to be the most efficient money making engine. I want to share an old story about my Jane Street interview in 2014. Jane Street was known for hiring a lot of math, physics and CS olympiad winners from top universities and putting them through many rounds - including, for trading roles, a gauntlet of mental math. It was my 6th interview and my final round and I recall being asked "What is the next day after today in DD/MM/YYYY where all the digits are unique?" They'd toy with you and say "You can use a pencil and paper, if you want" but you knew that was an instant no. Painstakingly and as quickly as I could, I came to an answer. "How confident are you that this is correct on a 0-1 probability scale?" the interviewer said. "0.95", I blurted out, not fully knowing how to answer that. "Are you sure?" After thinking harder for a few more seconds, I realized I could've flipped the digits around to get a closer date. I gave the interviewer my answer. It was correct. "0.95 huh?" he chuckled. That's when I knew I failed. Note: fwiw, other companies that come close in efficiency are - Tether ($90M+ profit/emp) - Hyperliquid ($80M+ profit/emp) and on revenue: - Valve ($50M/emp) - OnlyFans ($37M/emp) - Craigslist ($14M/emp) - Anthropic ($12M/emp, run rate) - OpenAI ($8M/emp, run rate) For comparison, Nvidia is very efficient at scale and is $4.4M/emp.

Today was a special day for our government relations efforts at Pudgy Penguins. When we first started making trips to the Hill, the vision was clear: lead the charge in showing lawmakers the retail and mass-market use cases of crypto through the Pudgy Penguins brand. After more than a year of personal Hill visits, we felt the time was right to take the next step. We hosted our first open-invite event for policymakers in the Rayburn House Building, the largest congressional office building, with @0xLoMel and I on a panel sharing the full Pudgy Penguins story, crypto’s vital role in it, and educating lawmakers on crypto. As always, we have even bigger things cooking behind the scenes that we can’t wait to share with you all. We firmly believe that when Pudgy Penguins wins, the entire space wins with us. The best is yet to come 🐧 Thank you to @thecolinmclaren from Solana Policy Institute for moderating this panel.

I used to think shorting a crash was the smart trade. the math humbled me. and here’s what I mean: if you place a 100x short on $26 → $0.50 price dropped 98%. it sounds massive. $1k becomes $99k a 100x long $0.50 → $26 price pumped 5,100%. but your $1k becomes $5.1M this is the same asset, the same leverage. but a completely different outcome. shorting a crash feels intelligent, you saw it coming, you were right but the math doesn’t care about being right a 98% drop is still just 98% a 5,100% pump is retirement money. so next time something starts moving and your first instinct is to short it, stop fighting the pump. just ride it.
