What an incredible #transplant year at Mayo Clinic Arizona. Our dedicated teams were able to facilitate more than 900 organs transplants. 40 heart transplants, 25 kidney-pancreas, 525 kidneys, and 317 liver transplants. Truly a monumental coordinated effort from every part of our organization. We thank the organ donors and their families especially, and appreciate the trust of our patients. More to follow in 2025!

Yesterday I developed sudden onset severe back pain (luckily without cauda equina symptoms) and found out I have a herniated L5-S1 disc. Hoping to walk pain-free again soon 🙏
