The reversals of decisions by Supreme court of India is matter of concern. Bhushan Steel, The Environmental clearance and now Aravali mountains. This brings in uncertainty and erosion of belief in high judicial forums . There would be no end to any dispute.

Disasters like in Uttarakhand, costing millions. A better solution: Indian reinsurers & government should partner to create parametric insurance. Premium can be funded from property tax, NDMA, govt schemes and would create focused support drastically reducing direct relief cost
