I haven't validated this on my own devices but it looks like Google Newsshowcases are using utm-parameters again. utm_source=newsshowcase utm_medium=gnews or =discover ping @VishMarathe411 @DeiviZzZ @PeterNikolow @largow @lilyraynyc @pedrodias

@VorticonCmdr @markalves I can see less traffic in GA than in GSC. Just checked it on iOS and they add the parameters just in the Google App and not in Chrome.

@markalves So right now Google attaches ?utm_source=newsshowcase&utm_medium=discover&utm_campaign&utm_content to URLs which is messy. Especially since there seems to be a bug which attaches newsshowcase to all Discover urls 🙄

@JohnMu, does Google Discover have its own "core" updates? or do core updates impact google discover (and Google News)? I am asking because I noticed multiple publisher lost considerable traffic in Google News and Discover after the core update.
