This is a huge problem in gaming right now. A bunch of theater kids who couldnt break into Hollywood got jobs writing for game studios.
But they dont give a shit about video games, they wanted to make movies.
There is nothing wrong with games wanting to be cinematic but it has to be combined with good gameplay and most of these games are unplayable or glorified cut scene simulators.

Not sure if this is unpopular, but Nora should have been the one who fell into the Ever After and not Jaune. Her entire arc in V7-8 are about her trying to "find herself" outside her relationship with Ren. This would at least commit more to that idea.

Character development is a thing, but... while aspects of their character developed over time as a whole the key points that made their characters DEVOLVED

I hope the context is that its pointing out how Yang slid from being emotionally sensitive and a 'young mom' type character from having to essentially be that for Ruby into the mess she is at the end because the writers are hacks
