Simply - there aren't any bruises showing, but the damage to the brain is just as significant. I know. The abuse I suffered completely rewired my brain; and I have had to live with it for 66 years. I am not a medical professional, however, as a result of the extreme abuse, my brain partitioned itself into several sections - to protect itself. One plays the 'tapes' of the abuse 24/7. Another section was locked for those 66 years. About 4 months ago, it opened. It was analogous to all of the cherries coming up on a slot machine. It became obvious to me that my brain had protected knowledge that I had acquired over those 66 years; and, now when I needed it most to help my Country, it has opened the door to so many files and tools that I needed for this fight. I am beyond grateful. When I was 2 1/2, my babysitter said that all I wanted to do was look at her books. She said I was not interested in playing with toys. She said I would point to her expansive book case, first thing in the morning. She said it didn't matter if there were pictures or not. She said I would stare at the pages for about 6 hours a day. She believes that my brain taught itself to read, very early on during those long days of staring at the pages of large books with only words. When I was about 5, I realized that there were many words in my head; and what was truly remarkable, I knew their definitions. The night the abuse began when I was 9, I immediately knew that my Mother suffered from Schizophrenia. However, at 13, the damage became apparent when I began having difficulty focusing in school. I had been a straight A student until then, but I simply couldn't focus in Biology to save my soul. I believe the teacher gave me a free C, because he knew something was wrong. I wished he would have asked. In my English class, the teacher would show movies after lunch for an hour. I was suffering from terrible exhaustion - as, after the beatings were over, my brothers and I were forced to wash and dry every dish, silverware and pots and pans in the cupboard, before we could go back to bed. It was usually about 3 a.m. before it would all be over and we could go back to bed. During that hour of movies in English class, I would lay my head down and sleep. When this is all over over, we are safe and we can breathe in Freedom, I plan to consult professionals to explain this phenomenon I am living - in real time.

On October 1, 2017, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire on the crowd attending the Route 91 Harvest music festival on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada from his 32nd-floor suite in the Mandalay Bay hotel. He killed 60 people and wounded at least 413. About an hour later, he was found dead in his room from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
