Trump is said to have sent Iran a ceasefire proposal and is begging them to meet on Thursday to discuss it. Maybe he must show a little bit of humility and respect on TV, apologise to the Iranians, unilaterally halt attacks, withdraw US troops and assets from the region, end Gaza occupation and blockade and end the invasion of southern Lebanon. Your post is both misinformation and disinformation. The ‘LETTER’ was literally circulated to MPs just before proceedings started. The committee established who the person was who wrote the letter and how Lt General got a hold of the letter. The committee RESOLVED off the cuff (the first MP to engage the witness) that we will get a sworn affidavit then decide how we will engage on the matter. The committee also resolved on other follow ups (based on the letter) while he is engaged to do a sworn affidavit! MPs DID ask about the contents of the letter even though we did not have a sworn affidavit & after we resolved that we will engage the matter fully on receipt of the affidavit. There was no close door meeting of the committee and all of it was broadcast live without any interruptions so what you have commented here is pure DISINFORMATION and MISINFORMATION! Dr, you do know that the approach of a podcast and a committee of Parliament has different requirements. But misinformation and disinformation ❌

Honourable Diko good evening. My view is this the allegations are really explosive from what I saw in the SMWX episode. To be fair to you, I do agree that explosiveness is not truthfulness. It could all be a lie. Where I disagree is that there should be no further investigation. General Mkhwanazi has proven to be a reliable source and moreover passionate about fighting crime. If he added this to his submission I would not fully discount it because he has earned that. I guess now we will wait to see if they will be tested. I think perhaps adhoc should go and ask this Prim person for a confirmatory affidavit and test the claims. Consider this - some of the claims about Phala Phala farm when they were made by Arthur Fraser were very explosive and unproven and they clearly came from a Zuma ally but some of them turned out to be true over time. There was cash in sofas on the farm. Lastly yes the source is a compromised source, yes the information is hearsay and could be false. But if the fight against drug cartels is to be won, it is worthwhile to check. That is why the former PowerFM Radio Host who left his job due to being discouraged by low listenership, now moonlights as a social commentator from the offices of the Thabo Mbeki Foundation. He is the mouthpiece of a faction of the ANC, wittingly or unwittingly.
