What is a good way to gauge a draft's success in the NFL?
Starts and playing time don't really cut it, b/c players may get multiple chances despite being bad, or the position group is weak on the team. Stats are... deceiving.
Thoughts on how to gauge drafts?

@kup778 @cubschiefsfan10 @MattConnerAA The 2020 draft and the 2019 draft were much better than the 2018 draft and the 2023 draft tbh. Multiple contributors from each, even if they aren't as good as 2021 and 2022.

@kup778 From a technical standpoint, I thought most of it looked and sounded cool. I also think Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley’s acting was good. And that probably threw me off the scent of how awful the stories were when I first watched them.

The Star Wars prequels were poorly executed good stories. The Disney Star Wars trilogy was good execution of non-stories.
The former has understandably aged better.

I too used to trash this film. But the older I Got I realized how much it sets up. My favorite being that it sets up Darth Vader being one of the best pilots in the galaxy. They mention that a lot in the films about how nice he is with flying And little Anakin being the first human to win a pod race is the first sign of that. The things marketed for kids are obvious and that’s why people hate it but it’s for a new generation. It gave us duel of the fates. Dual sided lightsabers. And it’s still f*** jar jar binks And Darth maul who’s just MONEY

Over 60% of the Timberwolves’ points tonight came in the paint, and that’s not even factoring in fouls and free throws.

Ranking Jordan Love as soundly in the top 8 is frankly irresponsible.
We all agree he is clearly worse than Allen, Herbert, Stafford, and Maye.
There is no reasonable argument that he is SOUNDLY better than all of the following QBs, as well:
Mayfield
Dak
Shough
Darnold
Mahomes
Lamar
That's 10 guys who are non-controversially better than him.

Jordan Love has been a locked-in top 10 (top 8?) QB for a couple of seasons now. Kind of foolish at this point to think otherwise. "Top shelf stuff" is that Love has one of the strongest arms in the league along with excellent size at the position, with pretty good athleticism, too. He also takes sacks at one of the lowest rates in the league, too.
