Shoutout to all of the people I interact with from @NotionHQ on here. They seem to have really put together a smart, friendly bunch who are just grinding away on a bunch of cool stuff, while at the same time not having annoying puffed up egos.

@ivanburazin We’re rebuilding our API to be agent first. The UI will still be there for expert users but we’re already seeing it used less and less.

Not infrastructure as a service / platform as a service
Traditional software (Photoshop, Slack, Jira) rebuilt with agent-first APIs.
- No UI
- Programmatic access
- Essentially the same product with different interface

one thing to appreciate during hype cycles is it is very easy to spot people worth developing relationships with
there's people building in the ai space that are ruthlessly honest and care about being right in the end, not just momentarily
they stand out among the craziness

In 20 years of SaaS I've never heard "we built it ourselves" as a serious churn reason.
I've said it myself twice this month.
("built it ourselves" == "with Claude/Codex")

I think about this a lot: Blackberry (recruiting) told me in 2008 that the iPhone was the best thing that ever happened to them. “Apple is marketing for us, growing the market of smartphone users.” BlackBerry growth actually accelerated after the iPhone launched.

Last week we paused our entire roadmap and had an agent ship-a-thon for a week.

Sorry to see Granola @meetgranola going closed. They encrypted their local db, no local and no cloud API. In a world where notes are managed by agents, the app now has zero value.
Any recommendations for good alternatives? What are you switching to?
