That feeling of a tweet from a random in the middle of the new feed. Feels like an em dash in the middle of a “news” article.

@mattturck France and the US can both go to the same remedial knockout football class together.

How France played 10/10 football throughout the World Cup and 4/10 football in the semi final will need to be studied in football school as the ultimate cautionary tale.

Can we really have nice things or will this algorithm change get rolled back?

Makes me proud of humanity to watch us mount an antibody response to the Claude Hard Questions video and the Brian Chesky slop post.

one common trait I find in high achieving individuals is urgency. it looks almost like impatience until you understand it is closer to reverence, a deep refusal to waste the one thing they can’t buy more of. the alarm goes and they rise. the message is answered while it is still warm. the small task is done before it can find a shelf to hide on. they commit and move in a single motion. an idea sparks and they chase it that day, before the world talks them out of it. they run at their own lives like something is at stake, because they have decided something is.

Pretty sure that Anthropic keeps extending Fable every week so that LinkedIn guys can write yet another "What to do with Fable before it goes away" article.

@tberman @zeeg I don't think that it is for most companies at least. Most of the "buy" options out there are kind of trash right now though.

@kurt @zeeg question for me is why is it better to build this than buy it?

Also, the check box to opt in to Netflix emails while cancelling is really just *chefs kiss*

If Netflix's best plan for keeping people from sharing passwords (which I don't do) is to regularly log out my subscription on my Apple TV (which irritates my daughter) then I think that they're just going to end up with a bunch of cancelled subscriptions instead.

@hnshah Yes, as one surface to interact with them. I think that the agents should also be able to interact through their own UI, other tools, etc, as well.

Do people really want AI agents that run in Slack?

@hnshah Agree. There's a lot of foundational work to do at most of the companies we're working with to get to the point where this bears fruit.

@kurt It’s so early that the definition of “easy” is unclear.

Feels like whoever makes deploying this easy for companies that are struggling to do it on their own is going to be a big winner. We're all coming at it from different angles and betting on how much teams are going centralize vs decentralize their context across their tools.

We wrote up how we've AI-pilled Sierra. The centerpiece is an AI agent named Pinecone that the whole company uses for everything from business analysis to writing code. Pinecone now generates 70% of our PRs and automates hundreds of tasks every day to quietly handle work no one explicitly prompted. sierra.ai/blog/ai-pillin…

Can always tell when a new model is rolling out because the percentage of eval failures on the old model starts moving up significantly.

A Brown professor gave his students a take-home midterm exam. After suspecting many cheated using AI, he made the final in-person. The orange dots are the midterm scores and the gray dots are the final scores. Looks like all but 3 cheated on the midterm.

In my testing over the last seven days, I'd say that Fable can easily build 1-4 well-tested features a day. We really are reaching the point where deciding *what* to build is the only thing that matters.

The most freeing thing about being acquired for me is that I don't have to login to Linkedin ever again and post cringe shit.
