1/? The sad part people don’t realize is some children who were extremely isolated grow up to be extremely distrustful as adults. They do not like forming friendships or connections because it’s something that will always be volatile to them no matter how much time passes.

For Asuka, I tried to express a kind of quiet madness by letting her naturally resonate with Eva Unit-02, not only visually but psychologically, as if the two were silently linked.
For Denji, I focused on a more dynamic kind of madness—one driven by his own desire for change. I also leaned heavily into flat, street-art-inspired colors, and I think it gave the piece a raw, violent energy.

@mrbrianrowe I actually think that Cruz might cancel herself out in Supporting Actress. Splitting her own vote between the two films, “The Invite” & “La bola negra”. And that’s assuming she’s going lead in “Bunker”. More isn’t always better, sometimes it’s just more #Oscars
