@combatdollwatch thank god someone else feels the same way. the first half was so good when it was a scary detective story... adding in the supernatural elements completely took the wind out of my sails.

there are scenes in this film that are suffocatingly dreadful, some of the best horror i’ve ever seen, palpably displaying a deep intrinsic evil underpinning america, and then it turns and i get exhaustingly taken out of it. painstakingly apparent it’s all acting, lighting, sets

Rewatched a Frasier episode (S6E3). Martin and Frasier clash because Frasier is unemployed and always home, so Martin moves into Niles' place while Frasier tries to plan a date with a lingerie model. At the end, the model is revealed. Took a second till I fell out of my chair.
