Well he has the most powerful military in the world, he just decided to stop while he was ahead. I'd say it's a bit suspicious even.

How China forced Europe to reconsider Africa’s industrialization “Africa now has leverage it has lacked for decades. Europe needs diversified industrial partnerships and alternative processing ecosystems outside overwhelming Chinese concentration. The entire world needs African minerals. The real test of Europe’s seriousness is whether it is willing to support the conditions African industrialization requires: lower-cost capital, energy infrastructure, technology transfer, logistics systems, market access, and tolerance for active industrial policy. The last major reconfiguration of the global economy entrenched Africa’s extractive role. China’s rise may now create the conditions for Africa to finally renegotiate it.” @YinkaWrites semafor.com/article/05/25/…

What a stupid tweet. Try not attacking Israel. Israel's neighbors declare clearly that they are trying to get rid of Israel, then try, and then when they fail they blame Israel for disturbing the peace. You don't need to like Israel, but have a little bit of integrity man.
Dr. Ali BAKIR (علي باكير)@AliBakeer

#Iran, much like Israel, can't live in a stable, peaceful, and prosperous region. This tendency is fundamentally rooted in their nature, structure of their regimes, and their foreign and security policies. Both tend to thrive in environments where instability, tensions, and conflicts are the prevailing norms.

🇺🇸The US now exports 35% more oil than it imports🛢️ That wasn't true 5 years ago December 2025: Exports: 354.1M barrels/month Imports: 256.9M barrels/month Full year 2025: exports at 10.7M b/d, imports at 7.9M b/d. A net surplus of 2.8 million barrels every single day. In 1985, the US imported over 200M barrels a month and exported almost nothing. By 2005, imports peaked above 450M barrels/month. The US was the world's largest oil consumer running on foreign supply. Then shale changed everything. The crossover happened in August 2021. Since then, the US has been a net petroleum exporter and the gap keeps widening. The US is energy independent on a net basis. But its refining system was built for heavy crude, and Canadian oil sands supply used to be most of it, now Venezuela is is growing. From largest importer to largest exporter in one generation. The shale revolution restructured global energy flows more than any policy decision in the last 40 years.

China doesn’t even need to mine critical minerals to control the choke point. With commodities giants like Mercuria embedded in that system, the West’s supply chain risk runs deeper than it seems. Check out my latest piece on RealClearDefense. realcleardefense.com/articles/2026/…

The internal Iranian regime narrative has shifted markedly in the past 72 hours. Multiple officials have now openly acknowledged Iran’s structural gasoline deficit, war-damaged energy infrastructure, and the urgent need for consumption management. Fuel shortages and tightened rationing are pushing drivers across the country into a rapidly growing gasoline black market. Citizens are describing hours-long lines at filling stations and sharply inflated under-the-table prices. a clear signal that the official quota system is breaking down on the ground. @IranIntl On the export front, the picture is just as stark: Iranian crude exports have collapsed by more than 80% between mid-March and late April, measured against a March baseline of 23.4 million barrels. @Vortexa. And there is no easy workaround. Iran’s overland export alternatives, via Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan, have a combined capacity of only 250,000–300,000 bpd. The math simply doesn’t work for Tehran. The cumulative picture: a regime now publicly conceding what it long denied, a domestic fuel market under acute stress, and an export channel with no viable replacement.

Here are some projects US is pushing, working on, or already locked in to counter China. Idea that this administration is "soft on Xi Jinping" or that "US is in decline" is incredibly misleading 🧵

Prosperity is highly correlated with economic freedom. Can someone please explain why the left does everything it can to limit economic freedom with unnecessary regulations and overtaxation? Why don’t they want nations and their people to be prosperous and wealthy?

@AlfawazHamd @ChathamHouse @NeilQuilliam1 How is it incremental creeping if they took all the West Bank from Jordan (not Palestine) in 1967 and then helped create the Palestinian Authority in the 90s? They even offered to give up the whole West Bank in 2000 when Clinton was president, Arafat said no. Not buying it.

@kyle_mcc3 @ChathamHouse @NeilQuilliam1 The word hate is not used except by you ! Actions louder than words as we saw with israel incremental creeping occupation and supporting a minority to weaken the state . I am sure you want to down play such concrete aggressive actions.
