Check out this video from the @SUBWAY mobile app - we added a sandwich with certain ingredients removed, then went back and ONLY changed the size. In doing so, all the ingredients we removed were automatically added. We didn’t catch this until we got our sandwiches home and saw everything on them, then saw the receipt. VERY bad UX…

Hey @SUBWAY - Is it common for a sandwich’s ingredients to reset when switched from a 6” to a footlong on your mobile app?? Our order was completely messed up because your app added all default ingredients back without warning when we switched sizes. The store refused to fix it because they made exactly what your app sent them, even though it’s NOT what we originally entered. Now we’re out $32 and loyalty points as a result.

We named him after one of the Blues Brothers, because when we first came home with us, he looked like he was wearing a black and white suit, complete with black fur around his eyes that resembled sunglasses. Yesterday, quite unexpectedly, we said goodbye to our best friend, protector, travel buddy, and eater of left-over pizza crust, Elwood. He had just turned 7 years old in December, and at his annual vet appointment, appeared to be in good health. Unbeknownst to us, he has a significant mass growing on his spleen that finally ruptured early Monday morning, causing him to go into sepsis. We rushed him to the emergency vet after we couldn't get him to stand on his own, which is where they found the mass via ultrasound and advised that, even if they "gave it everything" they had, his time would still be short, and his quality of life would be very poor. We made the heartbreaking decision to say our goodbyes and let him cross that Rainbow Bridge where pain is never felt again. We all gathered around, wrapped him in his favorite blanket, gave him his favorite stuffed toy, and fed him some Cheez-Its and Doritos, and told him how much we loved him. To say that he will be missed is a huge understatement. Humans may be flawed, but Elwood was easily a perfect dog. He definitely was for us. youtube.com/shorts/azv1i4H…

I’ve known Nick Giese for thirty-odd years (give or take), and pretty much all of it has included making music in some form, whether it be high school bands, church services, studio work, or impromptu jam sessions. Tonight, we celebrated his 41st trip around the sun. Happy birthday, Nick!
