@GrantCardone Property taxes began in the colonial era and were the primary source of gov rev post revolution. But sure, tell us how the founders were confused, free loading, communist academics for initiating them. And then tell us how our boats are NEXT, after 250 years of not being next.

Why should anyone be forced to pay property taxes. The state doesn’t buy the house you did. You bought the home, improved it, put a mortgage on it and paid for it. The state collects sales taxes & business taxes to fund services. Imagine the 70 year old who owns a home today valued at $2M - they bought 30 years ago for $50,000, maintained the house for 30 years and finally paid the house off - Why should they or their heirs pay any tax much less on the increased value? They will say, “who’s going to support the roads, police, fire department and schools? Sales tax & local businesses can support those things. For those who support property taxes understand you open the door for the state to collect taxes on ALL property; boats, cars, clothes, art, bicycles, gym equipment, grills, tools, silverware, jet skis, stocks, retirement accounts - everything. 27 states reassess annually, and the rest, do so every 3 years OR lie California, any time you improve the property! It’s brutal and it’s endless! If you support property taxes on personal property you are either; a) a communist b) confused c) academic d) free loader End Property Taxes!

@TheAndersPaul Dumbass, Democrats are withdrawing endorsements and calling for Swallwell to end his campaign. Democrats kick sexual assaulters to the curb. Republicans rally around them and even make them president.

If Democrats were willing to disregard common sense, and pretend to believe this crazy woman and then give her 80 million dollars for her performance.., I’m going to believe Swallwell sexually assaulted 21 year olds that aren’t crazy.

@ggreenwald The best theory I heard from one of the moms of a teenage boy. The kids are really going hard on the Epstein stuff and they all blame / implicate Trump. Barron would be in those group chats and on other platforms, have a strong read on sentiment. Hence why she came out.

The sudden and inexplicable speech by Melania -- denying she was Epstein's "victim," that he introduced her to Trump, that she had a relationship with him, and urging more investigation and disclosure -- is one of the most bizarre events, especially at this point in the war.
Michael Tracey@mtracey

This is gobsmacking. Not only did Melania Trump suddenly decide to give a televised address about Jeffrey Epstein, she's calling on Congress to "act," because Epstein was "not alone." So she just threw a giant stick of political dynamite on the issue her husband despises!

@Cernovich Nah. Now they'll just call Trump's boys Paolo Zampolli (@AMBZAMPOLLI) and Tommaso Buti, maybe sprinkle in a little Amanda Ungaro (@AmandaUngaroA), and get right to the bottom of Melania's relationship with Epstein. She opened the door, they just need to walk through it.

Melania's statement ended the controversy around Epstein. Now nobody wants a congressional hearing where they would have immunity from any so-called NDA's. That was fast.

@curtis_yarvin Nah. But they will modify 230 to give social media the same treatment as traditional media in cases where social media automates the editor with their yellow journalism algorithms. No arrests...No theft...just sunlight and scurrying roaches.

@TimJGraham @TimJGraham makes propaganda with an NPR story on veterans losing their homes under Trump. He left out the part where the Biden admin fixed its mistake and then "Republicans in Congress, citing costs, wanted to kill that fix and replace it with something else" but Trump ended it

Rachel Maddow makes propaganda with an NPR story on veterans losing their homes under Trump. She left out the part where NPR explained "The roots of the crisis go back to a mistake made during the Biden administration..." Because Maddow makes propaganda. npr.org/2026/04/02/nx-…

@MikesVerse @PubWanghaf And NAFTA was the brainchild of Reagan, negotiated and signed by HW Bush and enacted by Clinton and the Republican congress after Clinton “triangulated” away from liberal economics and to conservative neoliberal free trade economics. So, yes…conservative economics.

@MikesVerse @PubWanghaf Friedman, Mises, and all the economists conservatives espoused, are strongly pro free trade globalization. Reagan, Rush Limbaugh same. Keynes, liberal economist that conservatives hate, not so much. That some cons are now changing because they were wrong doesn’t change the facts.

@Jason @elonmusk You do realize that nearly all “government fraud” is committed by the private sector against the government, right? Actual government official involvement in the fraud against the government is relatively extremely rare. It’s the private sector that’s fraudulent, not the gov.

It ALL goes to corporations who do nothing for you. For the confused, corporations hire the undocumented workers, deny your medical claims, and commit nearly all the frauds against the government.
Deputy Secretary Jim O'Neill@HHS_Jim

The American economy does not work the way we were taught. You pay taxes, you pay health insurance premiums, but where does the money go? A lot of it goes to fraud, politics, illegal immigrants, and corporations that do nothing for you. The system is rigged.

@robbystarbuck @elonmusk SpaceX would not exist without the government's substantial contributions to rocket technology, space exploration infrastructure, and early funding. To simplify Ro's position, the government is better suited for frontier technology and social services than the private sector.

I’ll remind everyone that NASA needed Elon to save our stranded astronauts… and he makes rockets that literally are reusable, which NASA does not. @elonmusk has created the single most advanced space travel organization in history. Better than every single government COMBINED.
Robby Starbuck@robbystarbuck

Democrat Congressman Ro Khanna argued to me that wealthy people need to pay more tax and use it to fund so called "free" programs. I posed a very simple question: What does the government do better than private enterprise? His answer claimed that NASA does more than @elonmusk, that the military does better than private enterprise (which is nonsensical since no private version exists to compare it with) and that Operation Warp Speed was evidence of government doing better than private enterprise. Again, this was nonsense in my view because not only do I disagree with the outcomes of OWS but it was free enterprise working with government. My final view: If the government asked me to look at their books and analyze their business, I’d tell them that "You not only need to be shut down, you need to be arrested because you are so incompetent you should be jailed for it." Chris Cuomo says Trump is better off without “kook” Joe Kent as he rattles off this list of insults: “He believes in the great replacement theory…” “He believes the 2020 election was stolen.” “He believes the FBI instigated January 6th.” “He’s got ties to ultra-right-wing extremists like the Proud Boys.” “He’s got a Panzer tattoo. You know, the German tank.” “Again, that would all make perfect sense if it were some MAGA man podcaster, but this guy had a critical job [top counterterror official] in the White House.” “You can’t have a collection of kooks around you and think that you’re going to be at your best as an administration.”
