@kylelevon @PubWanghaf Globalization wasn’t just conservative it was bipartisan and driven by tech + cheaper labor. Job loss wasn’t just offshoring, automation mattered too. Even NAFTA was bipartisan. Way more complex than you’re making it.
English

@MikesVerse @PubWanghaf Friedman, Mises, and all the economists conservatives espoused, are strongly pro free trade globalization. Reagan, Rush Limbaugh same. Keynes, liberal economist that conservatives hate, not so much. That some cons are now changing because they were wrong doesn’t change the facts.
English

@kylelevon @PubWanghaf If you consider Globalization “conservative economic policy” then sure.
English

@PubWanghaf 35% of workers in this video belonged to a union. 66% of economic output went to wages and benefits then, today, only 57% with the difference to Capital. Corporate tax rate then, 52%, today, 21%. Conservative economic policies are the core difference between then and now.

@adamtirapelle 1.Go back to the standard route where coaches fight for their guys.
2.Or make it fun, let respected wrestling media seed publicly. Show the debates, show the logic, name next to the opinion type deal, then haggle media if the eat crow. The sport wins with engagement,
English

@MikesVerse Points never work because it’s too objective. No human element.
English

@theficouple Simple don’t get hung up on interest rates. This is a perfect snowball scenario. Pay off car, free up that payment and apply it to student loans. Get the morale victory to continue the journey.
English

@notawrestler_x @Benaskren Hot take that doesn’t get talked about enough in this topic is that character matters. If you’re more focused on embarrassing someone than pinning them, that’s a poor reflection on you. It’s also selfish you’re leaving team points on the mat.
English

What's more dominant: the pinfall or the tech fall? Here's @Benaskren to answer that question
English

@GoPats15 @RealSkipBayless Yeah but there might be something in the ego where when he goes to Gillette and looks at the banners and says “I’m responsible for all those”. If they win the SB this year, as petty as it is he won’t have that anymore.
English

@RealSkipBayless Don’t agree, think Tom had/has a great relationship with Kraft and Josh and would be genuinely happy for them. Also the Pats legacy is his baby, as a father wouldn’t you want them to continue to thrive once they’re on their own?
English

@TheGOATFollower Another great example is Iowa state with Metcalf and St John. Ironically all Iowa guys.
English

Hot take, it might be past the point of no return but Tom Brands doesn’t need to be replaced, he needs to go the Manning route.
Nebraska had their best tournament ever last year.
How? Picture speaks a 1,000 words

GlobalWrestOrder@GlobalWresOrder
I want to hear it from the people themselves - the FANS. If and when the Brands are released from Iowa’s coaching staff - who should be their realistic replacement? Lee Goat? Jordan Burroughs? Ben Askren? Kyle Dake? Someone else? Let me know in the comments ⬇️🤯
English

@Benaskren If University of Wisconsin could intercept this traffic and hire you, you’d keep way more talent in state. You’d still have a physical presence at your AWA sites, you’d have an ROC with university backing and great facilities.
English

Well here’s a graphic for 2024 NCAAs. No recruiting, no NIL, just coaching kids who grew up in this area. Can’t find 2025 graphic but we scored more pts than in 2024.

Hank Jr@HawkeyeHank144
@Benaskren You run your mouth a lot, why don’t you go get hired at a D1 program and show what you can do? Clown.
English

@IndyHawk89 @hawkfan86 The people you listed have literally never coached, meanwhile Schwab is proven and doing a lot more with less. Whats with wrestlings obsession with coaches athletic accolades?
English

Additionally the Brands’ are probably the worst at this, but given the small pool of good stories and small pool reporters, this happens very frequently in the wrestling community
Funky 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸@Benaskren
People scared to ask real questions bc Tom/Terry throw hissy fits and cut off access. Isn’t this obvious by now
English

@KFletchGaming I think people are missing the best point in hiring Fisch, and that’s taking his roster and top 15 recruiting class with him to Ann Arbor. How IU went full 180 two years ago. Transfer portal era in full effect.
English

@Metaleka_ Just need to learn from the cignetti experiment, find an existing HC of a Good team and he takes his best players with him. You hire outside you’re asking for 3-4 years of developing a program. Idk if Michigan has that patience right now.
English

@MichFootballBEL @BigWink69 Hard to imagine schedules going forward will be as easy as this years, even if they do improve I wouldn’t be shocked if record doesn’t reflect it.
English

@BigWink69 The whole premise is if we miss the playoff in 2026
English

@KingBMCIII @on3 Wasn’t the internal question I had you ask yourself.
English

@MikesVerse @on3 They haven't beaten anyone their record is from beating teams with 4 losses or more.
English

@Michigander1426 @on3 People are so quick to forget where Vandy was even 3 years ago.
English

@on3 There is no doubt Diego deserves the Heisman, especially getting Vanderbilt to 10 wins. Best season in program history probably.
English

@KingBMCIII @on3 Where would the team be without Pavia? You can make similar argument for Mendoza, definitely not for Sayin.
English

@deek_07 @_birdsofwar @TaylorLewan77 Ask yourself how many wins OSU would have without smith and how many wins would vandy have without Pavia.
English

@_birdsofwar @TaylorLewan77 Was he the QB or was he the best player in the nation
Pavia is a losing QB and not the best player
Honestly my Heisman would go to Love or Jeremiah Smith and you could go through my account to see I’ve always felt this way
English

Diego Pavia should be your 2025 Heisman trophy winner.
SEC Numbers Guy@secnumbersguy
Comparing Heisman Candidates Yards Responsible For: -Pavia 4,018 -Sayin 3,092 -Mendoza 3,001 -Moore 2,924 TDs Responsible For: -Pavia 36 -Sayin 30 -Mendoza 38 -Moore 25 Looks like we are #2Turnt, @diegopavia02!
English

@Benaskren Wisconsin would be a top 5 school overnight if they simply just kept AWA talent in state.
English

@scorpio6920 @UnbowedPaladin @thattradgal No what I’m saying is when Catholics turn 14 or so (generally 8th grade) they get “confirmed” it’s and tradition or ceremony. That Essientially replaces how Christian’s view baptism in accepting Christ.
