@mraleph @dinkomarinac @dart_lang That's great to hear! And trivially shareable objects seems like a solid first step. I think full shared memory will be a big unlock for the broader community. Getting my non-deeply-immutable objects from one isolate to the other has proven expensive

@kylevenn @dinkomarinac @dart_lang It's a very high-priority for me. It is still not completely clear if we really want to go full shared memory though - but probably we will. We will start implementing this: github.com/dart-lang/sdk/… first, then probably open the floodgates completely. No promises though.

@mraleph @dinkomarinac @dart_lang Any timeline or priority on shared memory multi threading? Anything I (or the community) can do to help? I’ve been using Dart for a few years now and it’s my primary remaining discomfort with the language.

@dinkomarinac @dart_lang I am a coroutines stan - trying to figure out a way to get them into the language, but there is a big open question around portability - you can't efficiently compile (non-shallow) coroutines to JS. Shared memory multithreading is unrelated - but I am working on that too.
