If they REALLY want to save money, they could be giving experience to newer actors instead who can't quite access these types of opportunities. There's options without using AI that result in MUCH better quality. Even letting people fandub the show for their service is better.

Regarding the AI dubs on Amazon. They do realize there's a whole group of people out there who would gladly dub a show even if it's not using traditional ADR methods? The amount of people out here doing non-professional dubbing is insane. There's no excuse to be using AI.
