How you interact with computers will completely change in the next decade! Watch the video with the sound on. Introducing Wi-R: wire-like wireless that communicates with touch. Science fiction is now a reality!

Building silicon is notoriously difficult. Achieving it with this level of capital efficiency requires an extraordinary team that can move 5x faster than the industry average while rearchitecting the chip across multiple tapeouts. Over the last 5 years, our superhuman team has pulled off a 4000x speed increase in a fundamentally new communication paradigm, proving our Wi-R technology in production silicon with a fraction of the capital typically required. I am incredibly proud of the team at @IxanaHQ

Parenting hack: introduce broccoli to your fruit-obsessed toddler in the fruit tray. It becomes the alluring "special green fruit." For a glorious window of time, we had our toddler literally crying for more broccoli. We even made her earn it by eating protein first. We felt invincible. She's smart and figured out the game. The broccoli era is dead. We are strictly back to blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. 🥦🫐

TSA agents probably know more about @IxanaHQ's Wi-R tech than investors at this point. When your carry-on is 90% prototype PCBs, and demos you get stopped constantly. Now I just skip the pitch and give a live demo of transferring files with a fistbump or streaming audio via touch while they swab my bag for the third time. Looking forward to TSA leading our next round😆. Here's what Nano Banana Pro thinks I look like doing a fistbump demo with TSA 👇

@jmj @pitdesi It was. But, that skill was what kept my last company alive. Funded it with $250K in CC debt.

@pitdesi @jmj I juggled 32 credit cards at one point. The only other card I'll throw in the ring is BoA Travel Rewards Elite if you have over $100k to put in a Merrill account invested. 3.28% on everything and 4.3% on travel and dining (if redeemed on flights, which is easy)

best card for most is RH gold, get 3% cash back I am an incorrigible credit card optimizer. I enjoy juggling multiple cards and knowing which card to use out for which purchase. But it’s like a game that I enjoy that maybe saves me a few thousand bucks a year- not worth the mental bandwidth for most.

@pitdesi @TheGeorgePu Investors 60%, typical 20% option pool, founders 20%. I have seen similar happen in the late 2010s even early 2020s especially in deep tech that's not in Vogue. SAFE pre-seed, seed $1-2M @ 20-25% $2M bridge seed+ with another 20% dilution $8M Series A with 30-35% dilution.

Met a founder last week. $30M exit. Featured in TechCrunch. 'Made it.' Raised $12M total. Investors got 2x ($24M) He got $6M pre-tax After 7 years and California tax: ~$2M His employee who joined Google instead and saved aggressively? Same number. Less stress. Better sleep.

@pitdesi @TheGeorgePu This can happen if investors own 60% of the company and it's an asset sale. No QSBS in the simplest case

No one is asking the hard question: what happens to @sourceryy going forward? @MollySOShea has been doing a fab job and I'd hate for the podcast to disappear

Interesting. Maybe because Google has learnt that you open links/pdfs with decks? I have sent cold emails at scale (>10000/day). The deliverability to the primary inbox takes a hit with links, media or attachments. I forget the exact numbers, but there was at least a 2x difference in probabilities.

Can anyone explain why founders email asking if they can send me their deck? So curious what the logic is here. I honestly can't figure it out.

@zachcoelius If it’s cold, cold emails with links or attachments are way more likely to go to spam or any non inbox place in your email

2 hours North from my home, you are in Himalayan snow. 2 hours South, you bath in Ganges watching Dolphins. 2 hours from my home, you can be in 2 diff foreign countries. 12 hours from my home, you can be in sea beach or a 3rd country 😏 Guess the place.

Jealous of AirDrop on Android? The bottleneck is setup time. Wi-R NFE close-range sharing: Contacts: <1s (vs 10–28s AirDrop, ~15–22s Android Quick Share) ~1MB photo: ~7s today, ~1.5s on next chip (vs 18–32s AirDrop, Android Quick Share) ixana.ai/blog/android-q… @IxanaHQ

@marclou Austin, if tax is important. If not San Francisco Bay Area. There's a reason why these are expensive.

Why I'm leaving Bali after 6 years: - Far from everything - Not cheap anymore - Air is polluted - Food chain is polluted - Ocean is polluted - Not walkable - Too hot all year - Wife gets catcalled often I want mild weather, walkable areas, organic shops, clean air, tax-friendly, and young vibes. It's a utopia, of course, but I'll choose the place that ticks the most boxes.
Ole Lehmann@itsolelehmann

@marclou @marclou you are leaving bali? what are your next stops. I'm in the same process now with my small family of 3 we live in cyprus right now but it's too small we'll try lisbon, barca, munich, madrid this year but curious to here the options you are looking at
