@panta_tif @JSweetGR Ακόμα και αυτό, γιατί ένα θερμό επεισόδιο να ρίξει τον Μητσοτάκη και να μην τον ενισχύσει ως rally around the flag που είναι το πιο πιθανό;

@cadenzza_ The problem isn't just about file Explorer. It's about the file system NTFS, it's been used since the first windows. They must replace it with something new.

@NapierHolland @elsathora Different vibes, Limassol is beautiful too. I cannot stand the traffic in Limassol. But this is from my Greek perspective, for you it may be different

My honest review after 1+ month living in Larnaca, Cyprus Context: I’m living here with two close friends in an apartment in Larnaca. We’re all entrepreneurs who’ve known each other for years. I came straight from 2 months in Canggu, Bali. Tax residency I came mainly because my friends were already here, but also to test the place. It’s the best tax option available to Europeans — Andorra-level but better in my opinion. Unlike Dubai, it actually holds up in court if you ever face tax problems, which means your money is clean and can be safely spent across other European countries. Travel within the EU is seamless too. And all that for just 60 days / year. For EU citizens specifically, getting tax residency here is significantly easier, I can see why you have had more friction with this. Also the 90 day leash is craaaaazy. Rent and location I get the Limassol complaints, that’s exactly why we chose Larnaca instead. It’s amazing here. Super chill, great gym nearby (the Sunday closure thing is annoying though), beach close by, and prices are genuinely good. You’re also 10 minutes from the airport, with direct connections to basically all of Europe and Asia. Loneliness I completely understand this concern. If I’d come alone, I’d probably feel the same way. But that’s kind of the point for me. Larnaca is my base for deep work, grinding, and hitting my business goals. I’ve been tracking my meals consistently for over a month now. And honestly, 2 months a year here is exactly what I need, if not even more. I love Bali, and obviously Spain (my home country). But my plan is to rotate between all three as my bases: Cyprus is my lock-in place, but with great weather, good food, and proper first-world infrastructure (no big malls in Bali, as we know). But I can i see why in your scenario it does not make any sense to move here. If you ever come back to Cyprus, let me know!

@kzagoris Forge (my .NET LSP) supports Zed. Although, the UI is somewhat limited given that Zed doesn’t allow ad hoc UI panels like vscode does. Still, I think you’ll find it useful. Coming soon

@CFDevelop I remember your earlier tweet about this. It's unfortunate that the zed plugin ecosystem isn't fully developed yet. code has plugins from JetBrains and Microsoft, but @zeddotdev is still relatively uncharted territory.I recognize it's a labor of love; I'm just sharing my thoughts

@tayloramurphy @QuinnyPig I would have put the chunks into columns instead of rows. That way I could get all the chunks with `select *`. I hope this tip helps the next agent.

@OrenMe @code I think you need to move the agents app to the stable release. It does not make sense to be in the insider only . I do not want to have another installation to test it.

New @code version 1.116 is out Behind the scenes, there’s some serious engineering work here racing against the clock to redefine the future agent-driven development experience A few highlights: The Agents app is now officially available in the Stable release It’s fully powered by the CLI as its agentic engine, which is a pretty major shift Also, the Copilot Chat extension is no longer separate, it now comes built-in with VSCode This should reduce a lot of friction in their release process, and also eliminate those annoying race conditions that used to pop up from time to time due to separate releases Migrations like this don’t happen casually, I’m pretty sure there’s more behind it that we’ll uncover soon On top of that, agent debug logs are now persisted, so you can revisit debug sessions even after restarting VSCode, thanks to JSONL files becoming the source of truth My guess is this ties into another feature coming soon, Chronicle, which will be embedded into VSCode (worth trying it via the CLI in the meantime, it’s been available there for a while) Another small UX story I touched on recently: the new carousel-style UI for tool approvals Instead of multiple approvals taking up tons of vertical space in chat, they’re now grouped into a carousel widget And there are plenty more improvements around terminal workflows and chat UI/UX We’ve been in a relatively long phase without obvious, visible leaps, but under the hood there’s serious groundwork being laid for the Agents app and the Agent Host protocol This should unlock new experiences like running multiple agents in parallel, having them communicate with each other, and coordinate tasks
Visual Studio Code@code

New @code release today 🚀 We're enhancing the agent experience with debug logs for past sessions, terminal interaction tools, built-in GitHub Copilot, and more!

Some Greek try to paint Eastern Romans as Greek but that is historically wrong. Byzantine period (330–1453 CE) Self-identification: Rhomaioi (Romans) NOT GREEK, NEVER GREEK Religion: Orthodox Christianity Political structure: continuation of the Roman Empire Language: primarily Medieval Greek (Byzantine Greek), descended from Koine Greek; not Modern Greek. Latin remained in some official use in earlier centuries. If someone claims that there were “never any Eastern Romans,” then they should provide the academic historical record, primary sources, and standard scholarly references supporting that claim. History is not built on slogans. It is built on documents, institutions, maps, chronicles, and legal continuity. No evidence no history. Sorry.

As a Turkish Christian sometimes i need to remember this to some Greeks when they act like Europe will do what they want a.k.a get rid of Turks meanwhile they forget the history. They blame us for doing horrible things while ignoring what horrible things done by non Turks too. I think this is just God way of punishing people. I would assume one of the core reasons we able to conquest Constantinopolise and able to spread islam to west is Christians backstabbed each other to the point make ourself vulnerable to invasion and God give them to their enemies. On top of it there are "ortobros" on internet act like they would love to see Turks get massacred.

As diabolical as it is on Pascha to meme the event where our nuns were raped in front of altars by the “Catholic” crusaders (an event the Pope has apologized for on multiple occasions), it’s even more ironic considering now your Western European nations are overrun by Muslims and you’ll be begging for liberation from Orthodox Eastern Europe as your final gasp before being completely eradicated
