@TempusMalleo @alexthechick Fuck me....
I never made the correlation.

There is only one worthy adaptation:

Every filmmaker has his own "twist" on Homer. More-accurate adaptations of The Iliad and The Odyssey would actually be refreshing!

@aj_papadopoulos @BudLightSadness Next time tell him its a party bus, and not a camper.

@innernetpizza The hate has more to do with it not really being a game.
There are numerous play throughs where 85% of the game plays by itself with no player interaction.
That and the fact that its not an indy developer but the daughter of Larry Elison funding it.

@TortolaDude @travelingflying @FireNewz Not exactly.
The assimilation component is the bigger issue.
I have more of an issue with those that come here legally to then use our system to send money back to another country that is not ours.
The idea that the bulk of these immigrants assimilate is not realistic.
English

@travelingflying @FireNewz Americans have no problems with Somalis or other Africans here in the U.S. legally.
We only want to deport those who entered the U.S. illegally or have committed crimes while in our country.
Those who have assimilated and have become Americans are welcome!
English

@kfc Because they hate awful service, poor management, and chicken that is nothing like the colonel's.
That's just a guess though.
English

@ribbitthehog Your not not blocked.
Interesting you think you are though.
English

A question from someone who blocked me. Makes it kind of hard to answer!
Levelheaded@lLevelheadedl
@ribbitthehog @4nt1p4tt3rn Question for you. In this hypothetical where we reach the point of extra-legal violence, do you believe the state will be capable to stopping and detaining those commiting the extra-legal violence? Follow Up. If your in the affirmative position, what would the means look like.
English

@thewardoll The most wild concept is that in the world of intersectionality this isn't the final boss.
In their screwed up system there will be someone even this individual will be oppressing.

@4nt1p4tt3rn If you commit extra-legal violence, you're going to jail. It's as simple as that.
I urge you not to try it.

@SpeakSamuel Its interesting how the writer thinks its an impossible choice.
This choice happens daily.
The writer has at least learned a part of what it means to be an American, but I don't think he is capable be a full American as his post outlines.
You're either born with it or not.

This H-1B worker has lived in the US for nearly 20 years and built a family here. His mom was dying in India. To visit her, he would need to wait months to book a consular appointment--with the soonest one available likely being scheduled one year out.
He made the difficult choice of not visiting his dying mom because leaving without an appointment would mean separation from his children, job, and his other obligations.
Much of the commentary around immigration focuses on how such bureaucratic burdens undermine immigrants’ ability to contribute and innovate. But we must remember that this red tape also prevents these people from being fully engaged with their own lives and meaningfully present in the lives of others. This matters too, and these seemingly non-economic problems will eventually translate into economic costs.
If America is no longer a place where people feel empowered to be the best versions of themselves as they celebrate, struggle, and grieve, it ceases not just being the land of opportunity, but also the land of dignity and purpose.

@TheJadedOne2021 The video doesnt show enough to determine if it is load bearing, at the very end of the video they do show a new header beam so it might be but with out seeing how the roof is laying it can't be said for certain.
English

Did she…. Did she just destroy a load bearing beam?! Aren’t those essential to keep the house as a whole….. standing?!?!?!

@lordmiles Incorrect way to interpret the data.
The guide only focuses on select cities and not countries, there are 1000's of restaurants in America that would meet Michelin rating but none of them can receive ratings as they aren't in the right cities.

@DolioJ There is a reason jury nullification exists, not exactly sure this would be the correct application.
