In a significant step towards strengthening digital governance and financial security in the cooperative sector, Dr. Ashish Kumar Bhutani, Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation, chaired a meeting on 17 March 2026 at Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan, New Delhi, to review the API integration of cooperative banks with the NCRP-CFCFRMS platform and their onboarding onto MuleHunter.AI. The meeting focused on strengthening digital infrastructure, enhancing fraud risk monitoring, and ensuring seamless integration to improve efficiency and transparency in the cooperative banking ecosystem. A one-day National Consultative Meeting on recent trends in short-term cooperative credit and the banking sector was organised by the National Federation of State Cooperative Banks (@nafscob1) in association with Sikkim State Cooperative Bank Ltd. (SISCO Bank) on 17 March 2026 in Gangtok, Sikkim. The meeting featured discussions on the National Cooperation Policy 2025, the BRAP framework prepared by Tribhuvan Sahkari University, challenges faced by cooperative credit institutions, measures to expand the business plans of STCCS during Amrit Kaal (2022–2047) along with the related matrix of recommendations, the status of cooperative credit and banking in the North Eastern states, and other key initiatives of the Ministry of Cooperation. #EmpoweringCooperatives #SahkarSeSamriddhi

The National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) organised a one-day Awareness Programme on Cooperation for students of Bhagini Nivedita College, Najafgarh, New Delhi, on 20 February 2026 at its premises. Ritesh Dey, Executive Director, and Anant Dubey, Deputy Director, addressed the students on the cooperative business model, the role of youth in innovation and digitisation, major initiatives of the Ministry of Cooperation, and the functions of NCUI. An interactive session followed the presentations. In the valedictory session, Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, Chief Executive, NCUI, encouraged students to contribute to the cooperative movement for a sustainable future. अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सहकारिता वर्ष 2025 के अंतर्गत 15 दिसंबर 2025 को जयपुर स्थित राज्य कृषि प्रबंधन संस्थान (NIAM) सभागार में एक दिवसीय जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। ‘नवीन राष्ट्रीय सहकारी नीति के माध्यम से PACS एवं जमीनी स्तर की सहकारी संस्थाओं का सशक्तिकरण’ विषय पर आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में प्रमुख सचिव (कृषि एवं सहकारिता) श्रीमती मंजू राजपाल, BBSSL के प्रबंध निदेशक, श्री चेतन जोशी, NIAM की निदेशक, श्रीमती हेमा यादव सहित अन्य गणमान्य अतिथि उपस्थित रहें। कार्यक्रम के दौरान बीज प्रमाणीकरण, बीज व्यवसाय, बीज विधायन तथा जैविक खेती को बढ़ावा देने में सहकारी समितियों की भूमिका पर विशेषज्ञों द्वारा विस्तृत विचार-विमर्श किया गया। साथ ही नई राष्ट्रीय सहकारी नीति के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन, सहकारिता मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के साथ समन्वय स्थापित करने तथा तकनीकी शिक्षा एवं रोजगारोन्मुख अवसरों की दृष्टि से राजस्थान में उपलब्ध संभावनाओं पर भी विशेष रूप से चर्चा की गई। #IYC2025 #EmpoweringCooperatives #SahkarSeSamriddhi #CoopsYear
