I'm sure this will be delightful and fun but I can't shake the feeling that a Charlie Brown movie should look like it was made on a budget of pocket change, most of which went towards buying jazz musicians a hot lunch

In Airplane! (1980), Barbara Billingsley was given a script telling her to speak Jive. Unsure how to approach it, she lunched with actors Al White and Norman Alexander Gibbs, who improvised the entire scene in Jive.

Yes, about 40 years prior, English luthier Arthur Richardson worked with Lionel to develop the more commonly known Tertis model, which initially had some traction, but its main drawbacks were in the setup. Same idea: big hips, big sound.

Okay so back in the ‘70s, a maker named Otto Erdesz designed and built some of the first cutaway violas, pictured here, for the violist Rivka Golani. The goal? To remove the one obstacle violists face when shifting into the stratosphere (aside from their technique…) 🎻
