Wrote Michaelson on social media: "I got a call on a Monday to fill in in Sir Paul Mccartney's band for that Saturday for SNL and proceeded to have 6 days of 'what is my life????' what an honor it has been to be inside this music that has shaped me. his band and crew and team are all as lovely as he. and he is lovely. just as you'd imagine. even lovelier i'd say. I will never forget these 6 days for the rest of my life."
On this day in 1990, Jim Henson died at the age of 53. He gave life to felt and foam, but more importantly, he gave generations of kids and adults alike the belief that kindness, creativity, and curiosity could change the world.
Chicago has lost an immortal icon. Sam Sianis of The Billygoat Tavern has passed away at 91.
He was truly the definition of Chicago.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sam Sianis — the legendary, longtime owner of Billy Goat Tavern and a true Chicago original. Sam passed away peacefully this morning in his sleep, surrounded by his loving family.
Sam was more than a restaurateur; he was a Chicago legend. His tireless work ethic, devotion to his beloved Tavern, and deep love for this city made him a cultural icon and an inspiration to all who knew him. Above all, he was a devoted family man and a cherished friend to countless people whose lives he touched.
Loved by many, he will be deeply missed. May his memory be eternal.
