Lovely video Victor. So PoS pay tech is ready to accept: QR paid via stablecoins NFC app (no Apple/ Google) Plastic Card tap So what is missing for every shop in the world to get one of those machines?

Drift Update: We’ve just come off a call with the Drift team to discuss the current situation, status, and recovery plan. At this stage, they weren’t able to provide specific details on the status of the exploited funds or potential support from partners. However, they’ve assured us that more substantive updates will be shared soon. To stay as close to this as possible, we now have bi-daily calls scheduled with the Drift team. This allows us to keep communication with our users as frequent and up to date as possible. As always, our priority remains our users. While we continue coordinating with Drift to understand the full recovery plan, we will also begin taking proactive steps from next week on what is within our control. We’ll continue to provide daily updates via our Discord. Please rest assured we’re working around the clock to handle this situation as best as possible.

O aprendizado saiu bem caro 🫤

Some people were saying that I’m stupid to use Apple Pay with wise. Well I do it because otherwise (😏) you get these kind of craziness: 5 DAYS FOR A BANK TRANSFER FFS

RIP Wise. I lost $8,000 in fees last year. And I had no idea. I’m French. I live in Bali. I run a US LLC. Every dollar I earn touches 3 countries before it reaches my pocket. 1. Stripe takes 1%–3% on every transaction. 2. Wise takes a cut on every transfer. 3. Currency conversion eats another big chunk every single time. I thought this was just the cost of doing business internationally. I never questioned it. Then I realized there were other options. @airwallex. was on the top of my list but now I’ll 100% switch. The money I’ll save in fees will make me fly business to Europe for free each year.

@xplaceapp So why the team didn’t choose a “more secure protocol” from the beginning? It’s always the same excuses over and over again.

An update on the Drift Protocol situation. We want to be fully transparent with our community. At the time of Drift’s exploit, XPlace users had approximately $544k of collateral and $152k loans within Drift, with a net TVL of $392k. From the collateral, $113K represents the team’s capital, meaning we have direct personal exposure alongside our users. The potential impact depends entirely on Drift’s official recovery plan, which we are actively monitoring. We will share confirmed figures the moment Drift communicates them. In the meantime: — Cash mode, bank transfers and other features are fully operational — We are migrating savings and credit system to a more secure protocol and will share a timeline shortly — 100% of any Drift recovery will be passed through directly to affected users We will update you immediately as confirmed information becomes available.

We are aware that users are seeking clarity regarding the recent incident involving Drift Protocol, which underpins the powering of the XPlace savings hub and credit system. At this time, we are actively engaging with Drift to obtain accurate and verified information regarding the status of funds and the broader situation. We will provide further updates as soon as we receive confirmed details. Currently, we are not in a position to share specific figures, impact assessments, or resolution timelines, as we remain reliant on formal communications from Drift. In parallel, we are working closely with legal counsel and relevant partners to ensure that all appropriate steps are taken in both our communications and any subsequent actions. We remain committed to transparency and will communicate all confirmed developments to our users as promptly as possible. All official updates will be shared via our X account and Discord channels.

@SuhailKakar Same story over and over again… 99% of crypto/defi are just useless or scams… but their founders get millions, so it will continue to exist.

defi is fucked lol drift just got drained for $200M+ and here's how: - attacker minted 750M fake tokens - made a raydium pool with $500 liquidity, priced at ~$1/token - compromised admin key listed the fake token on drift - disabled all withdrawal guards in one tx - deposited $785M of fake "collateral" and drained every vault in 31 txs over 12 minutes - nobody noticed for an hour - attacker came back 2hrs later to grab a few more million the multisig was 2/5 with a 0-second timelock. $200M+ protected by two signatures and zero delay. and people wonder why nobody takes this industry seriously

@levelsio Being very honest, after living abroad for about 12 years, I don't fall in love for buffets anymore, and rarely visit any when I'm in SP/PR. Probably if I'm forced to life there again, it might be different tho.

🇧🇷 Another Brazilian buffet, I didn't want to be annoying making a video because kinda busy but this one extra interesting because it was at the airport in Viracopos near Sao Paulo It's Azul Airlines' main airport, Azul means blue and is the same founder and CEO as JetBlue in America, his name @davidneeleman He's also interesting because his grandfather was born to Dutch immigrants in Utah! But then he himself was born in Sao Paulo, and lived there until he was 5 years old, then he moved to the US where he founded JetBlue, WestJet and a few more airlines Later he came back to Brazil to start Azul which quickly became the biggest airline here It's similar to JetBlue, it's not luxury but also not cheap, it's comfortable but basic, but with great service etc. Anyway back to the buffet, it's great the airport has a buffet cause it means you can eat healthy which is always a big problem when you're traveling Today I had steak, chicken, eggs, potatoes, some rice and beans and tomatoand cucumber with sparkling water BOM APETITE 🇧🇷

🇧🇷 New Brazilian buffet tour This one is interesting because it's inside a church Brazil (like South America) is VERY religious, 87% of the population is Christian Compare that to the Netherlands, where I'm from, where it's now just 30%, and similar for large parts of Europe, which is ironic because Christendom of course came from Europe Many things in Brazil and South America are ironic where they are in ways more European than Europe is these days Many churches here like the one in my video at the end are Evangelical, a conservative type of Protestantism. The churches remind me a bit of those TV churces you'd see in the US. Much bigger and more modern than we generally have in Europe Anyway back to the buffet, as always lots of meat and veggies and rice and beans, it can be very healthy if you pick right. And you self-check out by weighing the food and paying per kilogram, very smooth Also free coffee is included! Unfortunately in plastic cups (unacceptable 😂) so we skipped that one but nice My lunch was 788 gram for $13 at $17/kg Every time I post about this I get cancelled by Brazilian for being "a dumb foreigner paying too much" which may be correct as I am starting to realize Curitiba and South Brazil are NOT cheap Then again nowhere is cheap anymore with currency devaluation Apparently the Brazilian government also organizes these buffets cheaper but subsidized by them to help everyone get fed, so it'd be cool to show you that one next time ✌️

wen Apple Pay? We get asked every day. Here’s the reality: Getting Apple Pay approved legitimately is a lengthy process. Self-custodial crypto cards are new territory for big tech We are doing everything we can to push the process along. When we have an update, we'll tell you

Fui buscar quais RPPS investem neste negócio. São os RPPS dos municípios de: Três Arroios, Coronel Bicaco, Faxinal do Soturno, Caxias do Sul e São Francisco de Paula Todos no RS.

The Defi dream is dead I can get 3.14% APY basically risk free on one of the best tradfi brokers Or I can risk 100% to make 2.13%-3.5% on some of the "most secure" Defi protocols You're not even getting paid for the risk anymore on the yield ur just being retarded
