@DylanMcD8 i wasn't sure why i never used the sidebar tabs/bookmarks then i just realised that the keyboard shortcut to toggle the sidebar is diabolically bad: shift+cmd+L

Safari already basically has vertical tabs via the Sidebar, it's so weird that they haven't gone all-in and let you disable the top tab bar

@lair_software @ErdalToprak our users need to get a developer program subscription to submit the app to the app store they also need to go through review just like any other app never did anyone bypass anything

1/ As the world’s first ever mobile-first vibe coding tool, we at @vibecodeapp_ made it too damn easy to make apps. This led to the creation and submission of tens of thousands of apps to the App Store. And so Apple did this. But don’t worry. We are just getting started. 🧵👇

@9to5mac @apollozac Of the many dumb decisions favored by Apple, making leading edge development tools unviable on iOS and iPadOS is the dumbest. They are cutting off an entire generation from early exploratory development. Shame on Apple for abandoning the ethos of Woz.

@anshnanda @ErdalToprak isn't it more that they want native apps that've been properly notarised, vetted and reviewed along with a $99/year dev subscription so they can keep bad actors from spamming?

@ErdalToprak - we were approved for 7 months and scaled to $10m ARR without apple ever complaining - they were native apps, apple explicitly doesn’t want native apps, i don’t think you understand the issue

@weswinder it's called playgrounds lmao for real though, the App Store's strongest defence against anarchy has always been to review each and every app

@saraaa7447 Auto hide/show menubar is busted since they brought the notch in though Can't use that screen real estate at the top unless you build a custom app with the accessibility apis. kinda wish you could just drag shit into that space either side of the notch

@Conrad_rd If you hide the menubar you can use accessibility apis to create most anything you want to sit in the menubar space btw. if the notch stays i will spearhead this myself if needed as I really dislike the way hidden menubar works at present

@gnievchenko @NotionHQ You can have it locally on Mac with iCloud and automatic backups for redundancy, all for a once-off fee Notion is excellent for team workflows but Lair is a private haven (with TouchID wired in)

Used to be a @NotionHQ hater and notepad supremacist but after trying their product for a few weeks, I must admit it's nice having a cloud-backed relational database with intuitive shortcuts and in-built meeting transcription.

@NotionHQ This is actually a bigger feature than it looks. Tabs = • cleaner dashboards • fewer subpages • easier documentation layouts People building Notion knowledge bases will love this.

New block: Tabs 🗂️ Sometimes a page has a lot going on. Tabs let you organize it in a new way… no subpages, no mile-long scroll. Type /tabs to try it out (rolling out now).

Did you notice? @NotionHQ just introduced a new block: Tabs. It’s like a multi-section callout that helps you organize content without leaving the page. Simple, clean, useful.

Apple has FINALLY fixed the iPhone keyboard bug! The release notes for iOS 26.4 say: “improved keyboard accuracy when typing quickly.”

Open Mac apps on your iPhone with my new app choclift 🍫 After extending my Mac screen with Vision Pro, I wanted even more connectivity between devices so I explored the advantage of having a separate user interface just for app management. It seems simple but it actually allows for a lot of new workflows and use-cases as you might think. Everyone works differently so we’re building this app as a platform that will support many different workflows, beyond just opening apps. Stay tuned as I’ll be sharing more in the coming weeks.
