Ukrainian middle-strike capacity is growing and becoming very significant in the war. Ukrainian "Middle-strike"-type kamikaze drones operate at distances of up to 250 km from the frontline. This is where Russian air defense positions, temporary deployment sites, logistics bases, air bases, repair facilities, supply depots, and other targets of interest are located. Among the targets: Russian deployment sites, headquarters, repair bases, ships, energy facilities, warehouses, planes, helicopters, etc. Ukrainian operators seem to be focusing most heavily on air defense - nearly half of the strikes target Russian radars, launchers, and other elements of the air defense system. This prioritization may indicate a systematic effort by Ukraine's Armed Forces to weaken the occupiers' air defense in the operational depth. The weakening of air defense gradually creates conditions for an increasing number of Ukrainian strikes against other key facilities that have long been on the intelligence radar. FP-2 and Rubaka drones appear most frequently in the videos released by Ukrainian units over the year, suggesting their widespread use against the enemy and a systematic scaling up of production of these drones for the AFU. There is a noticeable trend toward increased use of the FP-2 in particular - over the past five months, more strikes have been carried out with these drones than with the Rubaka over the March 2025-March 2026 period. In addition to operating in Russia's "middle rear," drones are often used directly on the frontline, attacking infantry concentrations, forward Russian positions, and positions of drone operators. If costs continue to decrease, middle-strike drone production scales up, and expertise in their use grows, it will become increasingly difficult for Russian forces to conduct offensive operations simply because it will be harder for them to safely deploy and concentrate forces and means. Middle-strike drones can also be effective at the strategic level. Recently, there has been an increase in strikes against high-value systems, particularly the Iskander short-range ballistic missile system. In February and March 2026 alone, the AFU drones hit four positions of Iskander launchers, a record number since the start of the full-scale war. Source: Oboronka media

Russia is tightening control over the internet — and preparing for a possible “great crackdown” at home as the war in Ukraine continues — Reuters. Mobile internet is being shut down in major cities, apps blocked, and new laws expand FSB powers over users and communications. 1/

Yea it’s not fun or ideal But it becomes necessary when you cross over the 4k mark It’s stupid that we have to do that just to be able to follow people. The limit is there because x thinks it’s wasting resources on accounts that endlessly follow, hoping for follow backs, and then unfollowing everyone with a 3rd party app that automates it. This way an account can’t go follow 100,000 people randomly/automated and hope they get 10,000 follow back, then unfollowing everyone and suddenly have a new account with 10k followers

"Two people familiar with the U.S.-Russia negotiations said that such a proposal was made by Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev to Trump administration envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner during their meeting last week in Miami. The U.S. rejected the proposal, the people added." The CIA prizes its cooperation with Ukraine in ways seldom appreciated in news coverage about the war. The relationship, built up steadily over the last twelve years and initiated by former HUR director Valery Kondratyuk and implemented on the ground by Kyiv Station, has only deepened and expanded under the current administration. That may seem paradoxical given Trump's fondness for Russia and Putin, but it remains true nonetheless. One very obvious reason for the relationship's endurance and growth is that while the CIA provides Ukraine with targeting packages both in the occupied territories of Ukraine and inside Russia itself, the Ukrainians are providing the CIA with invaluable intelligence about Russia at all levels: military, economic and political. Kirill Dmitriev appears to be making good on his reputation as someone who thinks himself smarter and more important than he actually is. (His greatest assets is his wife, who's besties with Putin's daughter.) His hubris is leading him to fashion a rod for his own back. Dmitriev just managed to do three things at once: First, confirm the U.S. intelligence that Russia is indeed trying to get American servicemen killed in the Middle East, something Putin and Ushakov denied to Trump and Witkoff. Second, offer to knock it off in exchange for cancelling the one non-negotiable thing U.S. intelligence values above all in its relationship with Ukraine. Third, give the "war party" something new to use against him, since now he's bartering with their stock-in-trade, taking the fight to the main adversary. What's worse: he didn't even cut a deal. politico.eu/article/putin-…

During the REPMUS/Dynamic Messenger 2025 exercises in Portugal, the "red" team – led by Ukraine and comprising US, British, Spanish and other units – competed against the "blue" team, representing NATO forces, across several scenarios. The Ukrainian-led team defeated the Alliance's forces in all five scenarios.

For most of 2025, Russia parked its tanks and threw infantry at Ukrainian lines on foot, motorcycles, even horseback. It captured 30% more territory that way — but burned through 418,000 troops doing it. Now the armor is rolling again. On Thursday, three Russian regiments assembled 54 vehicles for a push toward Lyman. Ukrainian crews had every approach mined. "Massacre," drone operator Kriegsforscher wrote. Russia may have more armored vehicles now than when the full-scale invasion started — but Thursday showed what happens when they move. Hard to believe, but in March 2022 Pete Hegseth criticized the Biden administration for not "equipping and supplying Ukraine with what it needs" fast enough to "bog down and push back" Putin, who "wants the Soviet Union back, Ukraine back, and Kyiv back."

While both sides in the Iran war are striking major oil facilities in the Middle East, let's not miss what Ukraine is doing to the foundation of the Russian war machine: A Ukrainian drone strike on a major Russian oil depot in Labinsk, Krasnodar region, 15 March has reportedly destroyed the vast majority of its fuel storage capacity, with 18 out of 20 tanks set ablaze after multiple UAVs hit the site. The resulting fire spread across roughly 3,000 square meters and forced a suspension of operations at the facility, which supplies fuel to several southern Russian regions. The strike underscores Ukraine’s growing ability to target critical logistics infrastructure deep inside Russia, aiming to disrupt fuel supply chains rather than just frontline positions. Driving anywhere closer to the frontlines now, you see anti-drone nets over the roads, these makeshift shields are everywhere now because Russian drones hunt anything that moves, day and night. Surreal reality for folks nearer the lines: every trip risks a drone strike. No distinction between military & civilians. Speed helps dodge, but you never know if one’s lurking at the intersection. This is daily life our defenders endure to hold back the invasion. Every dollar counts, buys the EW, nets, vehicles, protection that keeps them alive longer. linktr.ee/1t1f
