It just gets more absurd every day. Who is next? Comedians for a Royal Commission? Housewives of Melbourne for a Royal Commission?

And their orchestrated views are no more important than anyone else’s. Let’s quiz them on how a Royal Commission works. You’re giving us a great example of the presumed bullying rights of the media @smh smh.com.au/politics/feder…

What a pity this Bondi tragedy has so quickly descended into political point scoring. Do people really think this tragedy could have been prevented. Precisely what policy or action would have prevented it? Louder political rhetoric?

@dadsweb67 Road trip round Hokkaido in June/july, the rundown from the rental car lady at New Chitoise made me so anxious I have never driven so carefully! 😂 would think twice about driving in winter tho

Just saw a lovely post in Japanese saying in response to a story on foreign driver rental car accidents in Hokkaido, that the drivers should be banned for life. I’m wondering if you are driving on an Int licence can you actually have your licence suspended here?

After urgent talks between the NRL and Holman Barnes Group (owners of Wests Tigers) The club is set to re-appoint Barry O’Farrell as chairman just mere days after plans to dump him were unveiled. O’Farrell will make a decision on the chairman offer tomorrow. 📝 @MichaelChammas

@TheOscarRace Love this film, it’s incredible. My son and his gf watched it with me once and I completely ruined it for them by talking over the top in every important scene 😂. A family joke now. But a great film!

The scene that earned Sean Penn his Oscar. Clint Eastwood revealed it originally took six officers to restrain him, but after the first take he had to bring in two more because Penn was struggling with such intensity.

Project completed. After 15 years of daily cycling and pic taking, starting at stupid o’clock and ending at dawn, I’m tired. I turn 65 this month, time to sleep in. I’ll still take pics and post, but I need to change my approach. Sunrise at Maroubra Beach.

@ZealandEarly Ah, there’s always something you can put in front of them and get them interested. I used to take my boy when he was little to look at one or 2 things then get out. That’s why they have good cafes!

Christchurch Art Gallery is one of my favourite spots to visit at the moment. Has great views of Worcester Boulevard & the Arts Centre. The Arts Centre's 1st building was inaugurated 1878. It's a national landmark, home to NZ's largest collection of category 1 heritage buildings.

@LucyGoBag Listened to the audiobook on the weekend on a long car trip. Marvellous book. Nodded in agreement, had a little tear here and there, thought a lot about the lessons. Told it’s not available yet in Oz but very happy to listen to it in the meantime. (Also loved the Dust book).
