In Games 5-7, the Celtics shot 36% in the paint (non-RA), 40% from midrange, and 65.5% from the FT line
In Games 5&6, they shot 33.3% from the paint (non-RA) and 59.0% from the FT line, averaging nearly 20 a game (19.5). They were also under 70% in the restricted area (68.9%)
Not once have you heard any of this mentioned when talking about their playoff performance

Gotta say the more I watch this Mikal Bridges clip the dirtier it feels. He’s never had the rep but at the minimum this was extremely avoidable and unnecessary

Sixers look like a team that played a gritty Game 7 two nights ago and are light on gas in the tank
This was always going to be the toughest game to bounce back and get up for
Sixers missed some shots they shouldn’t and Knicks aren’t going to shoot 66% from the field forever

@lando917 @StoolGreenie Huh. This is not a superteam celtic and Philly is not a 7th seed roster. Embiid/Maxey/PG only started in 22 games together and actually played. It wasn’t an all time choke. JT was off an Achilles tear from 10 months ago. Jaylen was the only legit guy after him. Learn ball

Pretty much, but it's not surprising
The same way you haven't heard ONE comment about Game 5s 4th quarter, or the fact that they lost 2 games this series only shooting 39 and 41 3PA
They had a higher percentage of FGA being 2s in their losses than 3s! (49.7% of FGA were 2s in losses vs 45% were 2s in wins)
For the millionth time, the Celtics did not have a playstyle issue. They had an execution issue, whether it was from 2 or 3. Why people can't acknowledge that remains bizarre to me

@StoolGreenie it's so annoying because they are counting 5 threes while down 5 or more in the final minute. All after the Jaylen missed 2 mid ranges that were far more valuable to the game.

Sixers vs. Knicks thoughts
Sixers have the 2 best players in the series, the better starting lineup, & are playing their best basketball at the right time
Knicks depth could be a problem but the only way the Sixers lose this series is if Embiid’s health is a factor
