Absolutely the most egregious one yet. Hey @eBay I have absolutely all I can take of this nonsense.
English

@Jasondardick @CardsMax The cards are awesome as always, but I’m here for the commentary 😆
English

@bxbaseball2 Nice stash! Judging by comments some are available haha. Whats the ask on the b&w?
English

These are terrible.

English

@premiercards_2 Dozens? I’d bet it’s a pretty short list of 23 or younger guys doing better at the mlb level
English

@Lanman113 Hahahah. Absolutely. My perspective is always "show me" and I haven't seen it the last 2 years... meanwhile there's dozens of kids out there way younger doing way more. And that's super frustrating
English

@premiercards_2 Haha yea we just have different expectations. I’m ready to see him step forward and he has from year 1 to year 2 so I view his progress as success. You just want to see it faster. It’s never an argument, but if it is, it’s always fun and entertaining (on my end at least 😆)
English

@Lanman113 We’ve had this same conversation for 3 years now…. I keep being told “just wait for it”. 🙄🙄.
English

@premiercards_2 Yea that’s apples and oranges tho. Thats still a full 4 years under the median age haha. He’s been above average as a 22 and 23 year old. Thats impressive imo! Now he just needs to start taking that big step forward. You’re passionate bc you know he can! Just give it some time 🙏
English

@Lanman113 This is just since Wyatt joined the league. And this idea that he’s some young kid is just asinine. He’s 300 games into his pro career and is a worse hitter than day one. It’s not 1995 anymore…the median age of the league is 28!!!!
English

@premiercards_2 Unless you’re just going off the last 2 years which goes against the heart of my argument. You can’t compare the first two years of one guy vs years 3-4 of another
English

@Lanman113 I didn’t say he’s cooked. He will be a serviceable player. He’s Alec Burleson with some speed….

English

@premiercards_2 Haha I was all set to like that when I saw the first sentence. Then I kept reading lol 😂 Burleson is 3 years older and according to other sites those numbers aren’t entirely accurate? Hes played in 426 games according to FG and MLB websites
English

@premiercards_2 Haha he’s 24 not 34. Far from cooked. How many 24 year olds are consistently in that discussion? It’s super rare. Development especially to that level takes time. Don’t give up! Look at everyone who gave up on Jordan walker. Could be on the verge of being what we wanted him to be
English

@Lanman113 My expectation was an all star level player that can consistently be in top 10 MVP discussions, And that’s simply not going to happen.
English

@premiercards_2 As to the 3 year point. It’s been 2 years and a dozen games haha. I think you need to recalibrate your expectations tbh. I know you know ball, but he was very solid and did that as a 22 and 23 year old with hardly any MiLB experience. It’s impressive what’s he’s done imo
English

@Lanman113 Wait till you can show three straight years of the same picture 😉. Kurtz had more production in one year last year than Wyatt will have after this year total for his 3 year tenure
English

@premiercards_2 Haha the point is, it’s too small a sample size to be judging any of these guys right now. That the beauty of baseball, it’s a marathon, not a a sprint. We’re not even 1/10th of the way thru the season.
English

@Lanman113 Also here you go…tough look even when trying to defend him with two guys struggling as is. I’ll say it for the 100th time. The approach is absolutely shot. Any hope I had of perennial all star is toast and it’s not coming back. It’s just what he is

English

@Lanman113 Well other than Roman being like 12 and in his first actual season…and still over performing him…my expectations are significantly higher for one than the other. And yes, he’s regressing exactly as I said he was mid last year.
