@convolk When i make music i have the same thinking. A song is never finished and it’s a talent to stop working on a song and just release it. When we make music we make it with the emotions we have in that moment. So when you come back to it you might feel differently.

making genuinely good music is almost impossible for me, i think beyond all the other reasons i haven't made stuff is that truthfully 99.9 percent of the time, when i really try to make something *great*, i just fail.

@convolk And honestly you're prolly the only one looking for perfection. People like myself are just gonna be happy there's something new, eventually. Not everything has to be "for release", and there's probably a lot locked up in the ol noodle after this long. Just create and iterate.

@convolk That's part of it though? You're never gonna start a project and it be perfect instantly, and sometimes outside feedback is more valuable than you'd think. You don't even have to release it, just create for the sake of creation, and bounce ideas off friends or other artists.
