The moment you realize how much @deep_beige loves the MGS series, all of a sudden the entire aesthetic of @blowbackpod - from music, to voice tone, to edit style or scripting - makes so much more sense, and also makes the entire series that much more of a banger collection

@mattyglesias As a ratio to GDP, yes…but in terms of the amount of debt, that’s actually at an all-time high. If you asked virtually all Americans how the economy is doing, they will answer it through *their personal* lens, rather than via macroeconomic data. Ppl’s personal debt is going up.

The kid who is suspected of killing Charlie Kirk confessed to his dad whose a “27 year veteran of the Washington Country Sheriff Department” who went to his priest and then turned his kid into the FBI..
Seems to be very close with his mother.. had a 4.0 GPA and was in college on a scholarship.. has 2 brothers.. grew up with alot of guns in the house and did that annoying thing every does now that does one of these things where he wrote on all the casings…

I fucking hated Charlie Kirk, but I've said time and again that I want the best for my opponents. Political violence will eat us all. Charlie's racist, sexist and anti-human beliefs don't justify his murder & from a strategic view, this will be used to persecute the left.
