🛑Un ennesimo tentativo di tapparci la bocca da parte di #ENI, che ci accusa di mentire su notizie che ha appena confermato. ⚖️ Nei giorni scorsi il Cane a sei zampe ha intentato un’altra causa strumentale nei confronti della nostra associazione: questa volta è una mediazione obbligatoria in sede civile “per diffamazione aggravata dall’uso del mezzo televisivo e dei social media". 🤔 Il motivo della causa? Abbiamo riportato correttamente che, almeno dal dicembre scorso, la corporation ha rinunciato a esplorare le acque palestinesi alla ricerca di gas. Una notizia che proprio ENI ha confermato a fine marzo, con un commento a @Staffetta. 📑 Si tratta quindi di una vera e propria Strategic Lawsuit Against Popular Partecipation (SLAPP), ovvero un'azione legale che mira a intralciare la partecipazione alla vita pubblica. L'obiettivo delle SLAPP infatti non è vincere in tribunale, ma intimorire l'avversario e reprimere il dibattito pubblico. 💵 Nel documento, i legali ci segnalano che il “valore della controversia è di 800.000 €” 😱 ed evidenziano che le dichiarazioni di ReCommon “hanno alimentato sentimenti di odio e ostilità verso ENI e i suoi dipendenti”. 📩 La mediazione è arrivata in seguito a una diffida con richiesta di rettifica recapitata a inizio gennaio e a cui abbiamo risposto punto per punto sul nostro sito web. 👇 recommon.org/nuova-slapp-di… @reportrai3
